Was booked in a non-renovated room, A/C didn't work and with window open the building work noisy, drain in sink smelled. Old rooms really not user friendly no power or USB by the bed. Menu for food restricted. This is my preferred location in Bristol so the upgrade better cause improvements. Plus I was amazed to pay almost double to what I have been used to:- I booked 1 night instead of 2 by mistake but hadn't noticed because though the price was where I expected...

Near the train station and easy walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel was clean and room spacious. Nice bar for a drink and the staff were friendly. Would definitely stay again.
