We stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment. Very comfortable just wish the TV was bigger so we could have enjoyed our movie night better.

Upon arrival there was a very large group at the pool playing EXTREMELY loud techno music from a giant speaker. This should have been dealt with immediately. It went from 2pm - approx 5pm.

I normally don’t bother giving feedback and I am one of the proud Accor employees. But, at the end of the stay I wanted to do the right thing and let you know how I felt staying in your property. We checked in as a family of 5. 2 rooms. On checkin, the GSA never asked me for a heartist card or even acknowledged my membership, did not explain me any benefits, hotel facilities, reception hours, whom to dial if we had any issues. I am aware that it was a busy period, rooms can’t be arranged next to each other. When I inquired, it was just a blunt answer ‘we are busy and there are no rooms’. Welcome card in the room was printed with my name left blank. No amenities with 3 drink vouchers attached to it. Reception, during working hours was unattended most of time until we rang a bell?? After ringing the bell, the staff comes out as if we have disturbed them by ringing it. I almost said sorry. On 1st, the checkout day, because we were up late night for new years and slept late, I hoped because of my status I might get late checkout, hoping for 10:30 or 11:00. I went down to ask. Lady at the reception straight said ‘NO’. She didn’t even bother wishing new years, ask my room number, or look for anything. Just No. Just 10. First I thought people at ettalong does not like to talk much. But, my visit to nearby IGA and petrol station was very much warmer than staff at Mantra. Maybe they were frustrated to work during new years or work culture might be different to what I am used to for 7 years I have worked with Accor A&R. Might be something to work with the team. HSK staff was good. Spoke to 2 of them in the lift. They were lovely. Spacious rooms. My room #405 had hair on one of the towels. I hope this comment is taken constructively by the team.

We regret that your Accor membership was not acknowledged at check-in and that key information regarding hotel facilities, reception hours, and points of contact was not communicated. This is certainly not in line with our service expectations, regardless of how busy the period may be. Please accept our apologies also for the impersonal interactions you experienced, including the handling of your late check-out request and the overall lack of warmth from our reception team. Your comments regarding reception coverage, the welcome card and amenities, and the tone of interactions have been shared directly with our management team. These are important learnings for us, and we will be addressing service culture, communication, and consistency with our front office team—especially during peak holiday periods. We also apologise for the housekeeping oversight with the towel in your room. While we are pleased to hear that our housekeeping team members you encountered were friendly and welcoming, this lapse in room presentation is not acceptable. We truly appreciate your honesty and your intention to help us improve. Your feedback has been taken seriously, and we hope that, should you choose to stay with us again, we may have the opportunity to provide an experience more in line with Accor values and your expectations. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Umesh for granting the view request over the pool and ocean view for our anniversary stay. The hotel itself was great, room size was big with proper amenities i.e laundry dryer and kitchen and balcony to sit down to enjoy the view. First time visited ettalong and was a good stay, would recommend for anyone visiting ettalong. Only a small feedback, the chromecast for TV wasn’t working and we weren’t able to connect our device to the chromecast.
