It was a bit difficult to find the hotel entrance from the street (probably my fault) but once I found my bearings no further issues for that aspect. Hotel staff were outstanding. The location was terrific. The views from my room were Instagram-worthy. Breakfast service (both in the executive lounge and on upper floor) was top-notch too. This is my new Osaka hotel whenever I'm there.

Staff were excellent, all you need is nearby and the hotel is on top of the train station. The hotel is comfortable and the room we had was a very good size.

My first encounter with this hotel was Dipesh at the check-in desk. With this being my 4th stay in Japan up until that point, it was the least welcoming and most unpleasant experience. He may have been having a bad day because his demeanor was as if he didn’t want to be there. He didn’t take the time to explain the benefits that came along with the executive room I booked. Further, he asked for my credit card to take care of the additional hotel fee and I watched as he manually keyed in my cc number and then inserted the card into the card machine. I’m very wary of fraud, so I asked why he needed to do both. He told me that he needed to manually enter the card so that it was attached to my room. Fast forward to later on that evening when I was dining at the hotel’s restaurant, I asked for the bill to be put on my room. Moments later, I’m being chased down by the waiter at the elevator to settle my bill because there was no card associated with my account. It was a humiliating experience to be essentially accused of trying to walk out on a bill. This was my first of 3 nights at the hotel and it really soured my experience. The interactions and service I received over my remaining time there did nothing to rectify it. I would not stay at this hotel brand again.

The hotel location is great, within minutes of major attractions. Breakfast was great, complete with wonderful view at the top most floor. The staff were all ever so friendly amd helpful. Highly recommended.
