Nice stay

Check in experience was quite bad. Only one desk functioning for. a 8 pm check in. The lady was clueless as to how accor loyalty points work. She tried to charge the full amount despite the existing point redemption on the same booking. We finally got our two rooms however that's where the joy ends. The ac was not functioning in 405. Upon checking a technician showed up and told us some weird reason and asked us to wait for 20 min with no luck. We were finally moved to 419 after repeated follow ups only to realise that the ac wouldn't work there either. This room was visibly worse than the previous one. Somehow we managed to complete the n8ght stay and we were ready to check out when another smart front desk lady offered to charge us once more for the amount already paid as the one who checked us in forgot to post it to our room 404 or 419. She didn't seem to understand or bother to understand when we explained that it was paid for already at the time of check-in . Thankfully airport was close enough despite the 15 odd minute confusion at check out. I have stayed in many accor properties. This was very bad

The stay had been one of a beautiful experience amazing place

Everything was good. All departments handled very well as all the time. Mr Lalit Thakur hosted us very well like always. His hospitality is highly appreciable.

Clean and Hygeine

The hotel had multiple issues. No welcome drinks at check-in, no acknowledgement of my Accor membership. Worse, the linen in my room was not fresh and smelled bad. We were three people checking in, yet only two towels and water bottles were provided. I had requested some help from the travel desk, which never came. The food was not up to Novotel standards, and I was disappointed with the food. The only saving grace was the pool at the top and the staff. At this rate, I would not recommend it to others.

Overall good experience in five star property

Our stay at your hotel fell far short of expectations, especially given the price point. We checked in at midnight on October 7th, and the issues began immediately. Arrival & Valet: There was no valet staff present at around 8pm to 9pm so I had to find parking and park the car myself. Front Desk & Service Requests: During check-in, we requested plates and cutlery to eat in our room. The front desk assured us they would send them up, but nothing arrived. We had to call guest service ourselves while our food got cold. Additionally, we had to call guest service twice just to get the minibar filled. Housekeeping Neglect: When housekeeping cleaned the room, they removed empty water bottles without restocking fresh ones. They also took away our used towels and replaced them with only one towel for two guests. Facilities & Amenities: The Wi-Fi was extremely slow and practically unusable throughout our stay. Overall, the room quality does not match the premium price charged, and the lack of basic coordination across service teams made the stay frustrating. I would not recommend staying here until management improves staff accountability and basic guest services.

While the general hotel staff and junior employees are good—especially the check-in manager, Lalit, who was incredibly helpful, attentive, and welcoming—the restaurant service is terrible. The kitchen and senior staff are awful, standing around idle, lacking basic manners, and frequently getting orders wrong. Most concerning is their unacceptable bias and colonial mindset; they completely ignore regular guests and only offer attentiveness when serving foreigners. Lalit and the junior team deserve praise, but the senior restaurant staff need urgent retraining in basic etiquette and equal treatment

I am particularly happy to see that the feedback I shared earlier was taken seriously and that the team made a genuine effort to address my concerns. It is encouraging to see such a positive response from the management and staff. 1. Special Appreciation for Joseph gaaru and Lalith gaaru During my earlier interactions, I was exploring the ALL Accor+ subscription but unfortunately did not receive sufficient clarity about its benefits and enrollment process to make an informed decision. However, following my feedback, Joseph gaaru and Lalith gaaru took the time to explain the benefits of ALL Accor+ in detail and guide me on how to enroll. I truly appreciate their responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to help. The reception and guidance I received from both of them during this visit were excellent. I sincerely hope this level of attention and customer engagement continues in my future stays as well. 2. A Long-Standing Guest Relationship I have stayed at Novotel Vijayawada more than 50–70 times since 2024, with stays typically lasting one, two, or three days or sometimes longer. These visits have been booked through third-party travel websites, either by me or by my wife. Given the frequency of my visits, I now realize that we might have benefited from better discounts, privileges, and other membership benefits had we received the right information about ALL Accor+ earlier. Although I regret not having this clarity sooner, I am happy that the team has now provided the appropriate guidance and helped me better understand the available benefits. I look forward to making more informed choices for my future bookings and continuing my association with Novotel Vijayawada. 3. Restaurant Benefits and Coordination Joseph gaaru also mentioned that he would connect with the restaurant team to help address the gaps I had highlighted earlier. I appreciate his initiative and willingness to coordinate with the relevant team. During my earlier stays, I frequently selected meal-inclusive options, particularly lunch and dinner. However, during my recent experiences, I felt that I was not able to enjoy the restaurant benefits to the same extent as before. I would appreciate it if the team could review this aspect and ensure that eligible restaurant benefits, dining privileges, and available membership offers are clearly communicated and consistently extended to guests. This would further enhance the overall guest experience. 4. A Suggestion to Promote ALL Accor+ Enrollment I would also like to share one practical suggestion that could potentially help Novotel Vijayawada increase awareness and enrollment for ALL Accor+. Similar to the QR codes already provided in guest rooms for accessing the in-dining menu or making payments, the hotel could consider placing an additional QR code in each room specifically for ALL Accor+ membership. The QR code could direct guests to a dedicated page explaining the subscription benefits, applicable discounts, dining privileges, eligibility criteria, and enrollment process. Many guests, especially frequent visitors like me, may be unaware of the benefits they could enjoy. Providing this information directly in guest rooms would make it convenient for them to explore the membership and enroll if interested. I believe this simple initiative could improve guest awareness, enhance loyalty, and create additional opportunities for the hotel to attract and retain repeat customers. Unsatisfactory as basic amenities like drinking bottled water took 30 minutes to be delivered to my room after making multiple calls to house keeping that at 7.30 am in the morning.
