The facilities at this hotel were great. Breakfasts were fabulous although the evening menu was limited. But what makes this hotel great, was the effort put in and fantastic service provided by the staff. In particular Elena was superb but all of the staff were fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We booked a 7 night stay at Nirema with Secret Escapes and got a very good deal due to the hotel being newly opened, we had a fabulous stay and was kindly given an upgrade as it was our wedding anniversary, the room was perfect with every amenity you needed, unfortunately there was no sun on the balcony which seems to be the case in quite a few of the rooms but it didn’t stope us sitting outside with our morning coffee or using the hot tub, the breakfast was perfect with a good choice of buffet and also à la carte included and the staff were amazing especially Rhona and Helena, we had a couple of meals in the restaurant and unfortunately this is where it let the hotel down, the meals were expensive and very small portions although the pool menu was reasonably priced and a good choice so maybe look at extending this menu past 7pm, we enjoyed drinks at the bar and again the staff are so friendly and we had good chats with them, the pool is an unusual shape and is freezing cold and the position of the hotel means you don’t get sun all day but not much they can do about that, overall we had a brilliant time and would highly recommend this hotel

Upgraded on arrival to Exec. suite. Reception staff pleasant and welcoming. Lovely room, clean and new. A pillow menu would ensure a better nights sleep. Breakfast buffet was well prepared plus ala carte option. Unfortunately the hot food selection was not hot. Staff were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. A toaster would be a welcome addition. The food at dinner was freshly cooked and tasty. However, some of the staff had a bad attitude and were not welcoming. There was also an issue with the change from the daytime menu to the dinner menu. 7pm was the swap time but if you arrived in the restaurant before 7 and were still studying the menu at cut off the first menus was taken away and replaced with the dinner menu, which was most annoying. The limited parking was an issue even though the hotel was fairly empty (maybe 10spaces). Needs to be addressed. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Rooms spacious, beds n pillows extremely comfy . Food & drink ok, but not that warm & could be tastier and mire choice. Pool lovely but no sun after late morning or on any of the balconies. Not really anywhere to sunbathe. Balconies could with a airer for hanging out wet bathers etc. Spa massage great.

Enjoyed our stay excellent service & breakfasts . Massage with Michaela & Vas excellent. Car to beach was good , minibus to the town would be good . Because the pool is in the shade a lot an indoor pool would be a good addition . Overall a very nice holiday . Thank you

We have just returned from a lovely week in Samos. The hotel staff are all excellent, special mention to Despoina at the guest relation desk, who went above and beyond to help me, when a car or van had driven into our hire car and not reported it. She was efficient, reassuring and understood I wanted confirmation in writing that the insurance would 100% cover it. She contacted the hire company and had an email given to me within the hour. The room itself has the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in!!! The view was gorgeous and a good sized balcony. We struggled with the low lighting and really think the room needs more light. It also needs additional hanging space for towels and wet swimming costumes. Sadly during our stay the weather was not good, so it made drying our swimming costumes and towels problematic/impossible. Also as the room is so high tech, some instructions for those of us who are not so high tech would be helpful. During the bad weather the door to the room was hard to close and we came back one day from a day out to find the room open (we did report this to reception). The car park is not fit for purpose, additional parking space needs to be found. As requested we handed our car keys to reception each day, and one day we came down to find the car moved (not unusual) but quite badly damaged/scratched. All the staff were friendly, helpful and a credit to the hotel; the only member of staff who did not engage with the guests unless he had to was the manager, which we found very strange. The swimming pool is there for decoration rather than for use, it looks beautiful, but is a case of style over substance. There are insufficient sun beds and the pool was freezing. A lounge area or similar that guests can relax in when the weather is not so good would be ideal (not the reception lobby), especially as there is only one chair provided in the room. The breakfast selection was excellent & topped up regularly. The hot water urn was too small and required regular topping up (with cold water) resulting in quite long waits for water for tea. Small milk jugs would be useful as the English do enjoy milk in their tea. It’s a shame the beach is a 20 minute taxi ride away, once there it’s gorgeous, more could be made of that area; maybe an alternative dining area in the summer months, whilst watching the sunset? Also not all taxi drivers know which beach to use, we got dropped off at a beach the other side of Samos town (Gagou), despite me repeatedly saying to the taxi driver we should be heading to Kokkari direction. I had to ring reception who arranged for the taxi to come back and take us to the correct beach! Overall we enjoyed our stay & only add the above comments to try to improve the experiences for other travellers, if they are taken on board, as we realise it was a ‘soft opening’ to iron out minor issues as they arose.
