I had a few issues with my room. Whilst I did get a room change, I found the managers attitude unpleasant. Booking a 4 star hotel should mean I don't need to change rooms and then need an engineer to come to the second room because the air-conditioning isn't working in the second room.

Friendly efficient welcome - and I was very appreciative that my accommodation preferences were fully met. The Service and Evening Dinner that I experienced in the Restaurant was disappointing. Service at the Bar was excellent - very welcoming and 'smiley' bar staff. I loved the Terrace and Garden - the jasmine is supreme. Amused by the sound system buried in the bushes!

Good location, comfortable hotel with helpful friendly staff and good car parking on site. However, could have benefited from having two chairs in the room and also found the air-conditioning to be ineffective.

Very relaxing stay. All amenities close at hand and transport options were very efficient. The city has some notable attractions with great historical value. The hotel facilities were of a high standard making my stay very enjoyable.

Beautiful hotel, great staff. Nice location. Breakfast is a bit weak compared to other Mercure's but sufficient. The food service hours are limited only starting at 20:30 to 23:20. I would have liked to order food earlier like at 17:30 or at least 18:30. I appreciate the room upgrade.

The breakfast was the worst I have had in any Accor group hotel. The bacon and eggs were cold, the bacon had stuck to the tray with the congealed fat. Coffee machine was empty so did not have any. The staff were uninterested and more concerned about clearing away. On the other hand the room was excellent and we had a good night's sleep.
