Staff was amazing. Luis at the Swiss Chalet was great in squeezing us in last minute. So was the front desk in helping us upgrade our stay.

Had a girls night at fairmont Sonoma, we did the spa night under the stars, everything was just amazing, unforgettable. Stayed in the beautiful suite, beautiful location, incredible service.

There was a family with young kids next door to us and though not disruptive completely, it does not provide a relaxing atmosphere when you can hear the yelling and loud playing clearly through a connecting door(?) especially on valentines day weekend. Maybe be more selective how rooms with multiple children are assigned if possible.

At the same time, I am genuinely sorry that your Valentine’s Day weekend was impacted by noise from the adjoining room. We completely understand how important a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere is—especially during a special couple’s getaway. Even when families are simply enjoying their time together, sound traveling through connecting doors can understandably detract from the experience. Your suggestion regarding room assignments is sincerely appreciated. We will absolutely reinforce with our front office team the importance of being mindful when assigning connecting rooms, particularly during occasions such as Valentine’s weekend. We also regret that the WiFi did not meet expectations and will review this internally to ensure improvements where needed. To start things off the gentleman helping us at the reception was extremely helpful and informative. Made everything clear and easy to understand. We also had reservations for 6:45 at the restaurant but we had arrived late due to heavy traffic. They were still very attentive and seated us right away. Our waitress was very kind and recommended us plates which we ended up getting and was so good. The complimentary wine tasting everyday at 4:30 was a nice touch to get a taste of different wineries without having to go out and travel to visit them. Ron and pam or pat (Im so sorry i don't fully remember the gals name) were also super friendly in driving us to downtown. The games in the lobby were super fun. Overall an amazing place to stay at.

Location is good, everything was fine, but not up to other fairmont standards. Paying to park in Sonoma is not right, it’s not Manhattan, fireplace not working in lobby, restaurant closed 4 days a week, if it’s off season and the hotel isn’t operating at full capacity…. The rates including the spa should reflect that… rooms need a facelift….. overall everything was fine, but fairmont should be better than fine
