My bed was comfy, but the room/carpet was a bit musty and my room was over the back loading dock and dumpsters....not a high end experience.

The facilities were nice, the staff was superb, and the amenities were useful. We ate three meals on premises and they were all top quality (delicious, too). Something I wasn't quite ready for was the staff addressed me by name in almost every encounter. That's a level of attention to detail that truly impressed me.

From the moment i checked in early for my sister Terri H. 70th birthday, i was the last to get my room at 2:30 and they lost our luggage on 3/21/26. We had a dinner party to go to and i was calling the front desk at 4:45 only to be told they cannot find my luggage. I found out later they took it to my brothers room whose name is John H.. In addition, when i checked out and saw my poolside bar tab from waiting for my room all day, it was over $375.00 All day long the poolside bar tender and waitress sarah, were mixing up the tabs, because they did not have my room number- only my first initial and last name. So they tried to stick one of my bar tabs of $148.00 and charge it to my brothers girlfriends name? I had to correct them from doing this. Overall, i expected more from a Fairmont Resort and i left disappointed.

I came with 8 of my girlfriends for a "spa" weekend. We have been going on an annual trip for 31 years! Our first 3 trips started when we were 40 years old and were at your hotel. We thought it would be fun to return to the place where it all started and it was wonderful! Even with the restaurant closed, your employees worked with us to give us an amazing dining experience in a private room. We all had such a fun time that everyone decided to come back next March when 4 of the ladies turn 70. Thank you!
