The Mercure Istanbul Sirkeci Hotel is located in a historic building in the Sirkeci district, within walking distance of the city's main attractions. The rooms are large and cozy, the cleaning is of high quality. There is a restaurant on site. The staff is attentive and responsive, especially I would like to note the work of the staff at the reception, in particular Serkan. He always gave good advice on where to go and where to eat.

Exceptional stay, treated like a king (or sultan?)

I only stayed very short, but I was treated exceptionally well (and I'm staying a lot in hotels all across the globe). I arrived in the night and the night manager was very attentive, I got a beautiful, large room with a very nice view. My welcome drink was delicious (freshly squeezed, very sweet orange juice) and everything was exceeding my expectations. When my taxi got ordered I was accompanied to the car and negotiations with the driver (who only spoke Turkish) were done on my behalf. Overall: I was extremely satisfied with my stay! (and the hotel is in a very good location, in walking distance to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Museum; you can also watch one of the big bridges, the tower and a famous island only 2 minutes away from the hotel)

Historic building tastefully converted into a quality hotel. Well located close to transport, restaurants and points of interest. There wasn’t a bar but the breakfast in the adjoining restaurant had a good selection in a nice dining area.
