Stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is at an excellent location, next to the bustling causeway bay shops. 15 mins by taxi to the City Center. The hotel staff are amazing provided an excellent service. The Accor online booking seems to be complicated with fine print clauses. After three nights we wanted to change hotels and the front desk staff said we need to give a two day notice. Else we will be charged for extra two nights. The hotel rooms were clearly in a run down state at best a 3 star rating. The weather turned cold and we found that the hotel did not have central heating upon inquiry we were provided a portable fan heater. This increased the dryness and made the room stuffy. Similarly one has to wait for hot water. We checked out early and moved to another hotel.

The Park Lane is very conveniently located near the Causeway Bay MTR. It is also a short walk away from Victoria Park and the harbour if guests fancy a morning jog or stroll. It isr also close to shops and other forms of public transport. Light sleepers would find the lack of soundproofing between rooms a concern. While the water dispenser is a nice touch for sustainability goals, it is quite inconvenient to keep refilling the container. It would have been great that it was connected to a water pipe. The curtains malfunctioned in my room, and only could be drawn on one end. The TV remote control was also not working well. The hotel also requests for a HKD 2,000 deposit during check in. I find this practice strange given the hotel had not done any room checks before they returned the deposit upon check out. It seems very performative and unnecessary.

As a platinum member of Accor Plus, I had received a few welcome emails from the loyalty team regarding the check in process for members. I enjoyed the F&B both at the executive lounge and Playt during my stay. Housekeeping was very efficient and attentive too….. the overall experience was great, thanks to the Accor teams and Parklane Pullman staff at all levels, well done!

The location is simple perfect. I also love the rooftop bar and meeting room overlooking the harbour. This is amazing. Room is also clean and great However, the room furniture, bathroom setup (bathtub) and etc. is ageing and outdated. Breakfast spread is good, but the same spread repeats every day. I was a little bored after eating the same for 3 consecutive days.
