Stayed here last night after wedding. Unfortunately we couldn’t check in earlier so we had to attend a wedding without checking the room out first. We picked up the room key only and went back to the wedding. We got back to the room at 1.30am to find the room was awful. The carpets were stained the room smelled of smoke, the air con wasn’t working either. The bath water didn’t drain so his knows what’s in the plug hole. The pillows smelt so bad we slept with towels covering them. I will say we didn’t complain until the morning as it was 2am by the time we found all this out and didn’t want to disturb other guest trundling luggage around. We have left the complaint with reception this morning for the manage and I hope we get a response. Such a shame because the communal areas are lovely and breakfast was ok too. Shame the room wasn’t up to scratch the room was 108 this needs attention urgently.

Stayed one night, no complaints, hotel was good as you would expect. Evening meal was good as was the breakfast. The location was restricted for places to eat unless you wanted to get back in your car.

The room I had looked like it had been refurbished, although the carpet was in a poor condition, so perhaps had not been completed. The restaurant food (dinner) was very good and breakfast was fine.
