Was fabulous - good location, friendly and helpful staff, and sizeable clean rooms. They even left balloons, a card, and chocolate as we stayed for a birthday. Overall we were very pleased. Only issue is the room got very hot, it might be that our air conditioning wasn’t working properly (as it did seem very weak), but we weren’t even staying in the height of summer!

Room was clean but needed some maintenance. The desk light kept flickering and going off at intervals. As I couldn’t see where the plug was behind the desk, I had to turn off the light switch for everything on that part of the circuit so room was very dark. Seems a bit of an electrical hazard. A large piece of the wood veneer on the drawers under the desk was missing. The entrance door looked like it had been jemmied open as the wood was badly damaged, presumably because the inside door latch was fitted exactly where the room key card slot is on the inside. Badly thought out placement. There was a huge amount of noise from the ventilation system (nothing to do with room temperature control) through the night meant that I had a very bad night’s sleep. I was told when I checked in that breakfast wasn’t included and do I want to pay a supplement but given my company makes these bookings, I asked receptionist to double check and it turned out that breakfast was in fact included so no idea on what basis this info was given. Asked for a quieter room and was given something at the front of the hotel where massive building works start at 8 am in the morning. Not one of Accor’s finer hours unfortunately.
