Dear ibis Hotel Customer Service Department, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment with my recent stay at your hotel. I stayed at your hotel from 8th to 11th April 2024, and there were several issues that made my experience quite unpleasant: Firstly, upon entering the room, I was immediately greeted by a strong and unpleasant odor that lingered throughout my stay. Despite opening the windows, the odor seemed persistent, making my stay quite uncomfortable. Secondly, I was surprised to find that the room lacked basic amenities such as a kettle and a mini-fridge. These amenities are essential for a comfortable and convenient stay, and I expected them to be standard in a reputable hotel like ibis. Most importantly, I had made specific requests in advance to be accommodated on a higher floor with a view of the inner courtyard. However, the room I was assigned was located on the first floor, near the restroom and restaurant, with a view of the street. This meant that I was disturbed every night by the noise from the street and the foot traffic, greatly affecting the quality of my rest. I hope that the hotel takes these issues seriously and implements effective measures to improve the condition of the rooms. As a well-known hotel brand, I believe ibis has the capability to provide a high-quality stay experience, and I hope such issues will not occur again. Following this unpleasant stay experience, I look forward to your prompt attention and response to my complaint. Good location, not a great room

The room was dark, looking onto other rooms. People had been smoking in the room before us and the smell was really unpleasant. It was clean and the staff were nice but it was a lot of money for a less than average experience.
