Weekly housekeeping with thin towels and non functional dishwasher

TripAdvisor rating 4.0/5

SofaOnASock1 Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

Stayed here for several nights. Booked direct and my apartment was ready upon arrival. Adagio is part of the Accor group focusing on extended stay with an in unit kitchen. The aparthotel is located 3 minutes from the 6/8 Metro station. BNP Paribas is the anchor I use to find the hotel, from Exit #3. The check-in counter is located on the second floor, separated by a gate to get buzzed in, along with a flight of stairs. Despite doing the online check-in, I still needed to present my ID and got a generic key card... Quite bizarre for 2024. Accor should take a page from Hilton's digital key... Housekeeping is provided once every 8 days. There is a small counter with snacks and beverages for sale next to the front desk. ESG is a huge thing at the property with motion sensing lights in the hallways, no fan/heat/air conditioning in the hallways, recycling bottle caps, and batteries next to the elevator. The property may not be in the best shape, despite a rather modern building. The right elevator call button from the main level was non-operational, along with the empty hand sanitizer bottle inside the lift. My unit had a non-functioning dishwasher. Notified the front desk on the way out and I got crickets in return... Towels were extremely thin...more like towels from a Motel 6... Some of the outlets against the wall didn't fully work... My studio was a decent size with a separate kitchen featuring a non-fuctioning dishwasher, full size fridge/freezer, cooktop with hood, along with pots/pans and utensils. The separated bedroom featured a high dining table along with a working desk. The room was bright and I was able to turn on the air conditioner to my unit. Windows were able to be opened slightly to freshen the air as well. The bed itself was quite comfortable and appeared to be 2 twin beds put together. Sheets, pillows and duvets were in great condition. Sleeping was quiet as my apartment faced the back and there is a sliding door that separates the kitchen with the living area. The bathroom was tight. Water pressure was weak. The hand soap was apparently the same as the body wash/shampoo which didn't have much lather. Towels were on the thinner side... The heated towel rack was decent. On the main level, there is a laundry room with 2 washing machines and 2 dryers. Washes are 5 Euros each, including detergent, and a dry cycle is 2 Euros a cycle. There is also a small gym on site along with a breakfast area that doubles as a hang out area after breakfast.

Awesome Experience!

This was my first trip to France, and I am so glad this is where we stayed. The front desk staff was very friendly, pleasant, and helpful. The room was nice and comfortable, and well appointed. The location is walking distance to restaurants and the Metro. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in France.

Room was lovely, spacious and really clean - it also smelt absolutely lovely. The room wasn’t ready upon arrival but that was okay as there was a convenient storage room in the reception area for luggage. I felt very safe at this hotel as the building is accessed through a locked gate which can be opened using a hotel key (or a buzzer to the front desk if you’re just arriving). It’s within a 5 minute walk of the metro station so it is very easy to get around the city when staying here. The only criticism I can make is with the air con which appeared to either not work, or was just very weak - we attempted to open the windows but this didn’t really help so the room was quite warm. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again when visiting Paris.
