-on arrival we let the concierge know we wanted to check in. Were directed to sit and left for 20 minutes. I had to make myself known again in order to be checked in. This may have been due to language barrier, but still disappointing- especially given multiple concierge staff were standing around chatting and laughing- did not appear busy -Paper cups for both hot and cold drinks in the room was extremely cheap and disappointing. -One of the beds was rock hard and very uncomfortable -The phone didn't work properly in our room, with the line whining and crackling (the phone charge was kindly waived for us given this) The person who helped us check out the next day and store our bags was absolutely lovely, I wish I could remember his name. Overall disappointing, especially given the premium you pay to stay in Monaco.

Frankly, there was an unpleasant odor in the lobby. I am over 6 feet tall, and the shower head was way too low for my use. There were never any wash cloths left in my room.
