I had a pleasant stay at Mantra on View while attending a conference there. Breakfast at NOSH was great with many hot & cold options. The hotel is well-positioned near the beach and shops, in the centre of Surfers. One small drawback was some fittings in my room were are little “tired” and are due for replacement. Staff were super-friendly and efficient.

Good location and wait an eternity to get your bond back.

The hotel has a good location. The check-in supposed to be easy as a member. But I did not receive my $200 bond back since I left the hotel 1 week ago. The room did not have any damage or issue. We took care of the building.

Revolting!!! Old, dirty, loud and felt unsafe and uncomfortable staying there!! Was there for a conference and the bed was old and broken and made a noise every time I rolled over. Provided with a top sheet and old dirty blanket. Mould in the shower also! Now paranoid of bed bugs in my luggage!

Parking too low and not advertised clearly that cars over 1.9m won't fit and no reasonable solution for this issue. Very old and average accommodation.

Bring Earplugs for CityView stays!

Lovely hotel, however if you book the CIty View overlooking the Cali Beach Club make sure you pack earplugs. They kick on with their duff duff music until 12.30am. Besides the lack of soundproofing in the rooms, the buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices and very well priced. The staff were very helpful, Lateeka and Alexia in particular were very accommodating in sorting out a personal issue.
