Check in experience was unpleasant due to staff being dismissive

Checked in at 9:45pm and was met with staff that were dismissive and quite blunt and unhelpful. I ordered food and had to wait a considerable amount of time and the timing was not explained and so when after 15 mins I went back down to reception to collect my meal it was not there and when I asked how much longer would it be she responded with not long, I’ll go and check but I can’t tell you how long before I’ll be available to check. To pay over $300 for a room and to be treated like a nuisance after a long flight it was not the welcome home I was hoping for. This hotel needs to have the calmest and most respectful staff given the anxiety people have in flying and then the tiredness experienced by people arriving home. Understanding and patience is paramount.
