Novotel Gare Montparnasse was exactly what we expected it to be. Convenient location, efficient check-in and check-out services, good, clean and comfortable rooms. We liked that the hotel has reduced plastic usage by providing water fountains instead of plastic bottles. The only disappointment was booking a taxi to the airport. We were informed, by the welcome mail, that a taxi to Orly airport would cost us Euro 30. But the taxi driver insisted that we pay Euro 51, about 50 per cent more. He added 7 euros as reservation cost, which was not informed to us in advance, but acceptable. What was not acceptable was that they charged us the tariff for the right bank, and this is nothing but cheating. We could not argue with him in the airport and ending paying.

Friendly front desk, easy check in n out. Clean n nice room for two people. The only “miss” Is poor design of the shower….water spray onto the floor. The shower curtain will help.
