Another great stay at The Raffles

We decided to return to The Raffles following a visit in June 2023 and again chose a Club room with sea view. It was good to see some of the same faces we had met on our previous trip and some new faces that were at our beckoned call. Special thanks to Isuru our butler who checked in on us and bought us chocolates and sweets. To Mo who served us in the Club lounge and of course to Chef who’s attention to detail and quality are second to none. Thanks to Joseph at the bar for keeping the drinks flowing between 5pm and 7pm. All staff at the Raffles are attentive, friendly and keep the place spotless. There are a few changes since last year that do need calling out. Drinks round the pool once you have had your free allocation become chargeable which seems a bit ridiculous when you have unlimited water delivered to your room or from the club lounge. Staff no longer wear name tags which is a shame as it would be nice to call them by their first names. The hats and bags we received last year in Club are no longer provided. Some of the touches and extras from last year seem to have disappeared which is a bit disappointing. The Raffles is an exceptional hotel with great staff, great food and exceptional service. I just hope that cost reduction and the cutting of certain luxuries don’t change the charm and draw of this gem of a hotel.

We had dinner tonight at Le Jardin restaurant. What a wonderful and imaginative experience this was. We loved Arabic food. The place was very wonderful, the music, and the service were impeccable. The team gave our experience a special elegance. How nice it is to feel like you are eating. In a family atmosphere, thank you le jardin team, thank you Raffels the palm, and I would like to send a special thank you to Ahmed. You were wonderful in explaining the food as well as your love of serving your guests. How great you are. Thank you again Ahmed.

Matagi restaurant at the Raffles Hotel on the Palm left an unforgettable impression! My friend and I were amazed not only by the sophistication of the dishes but also by the top-notch service. Manager Rafael showed himself to be a true professional, paying attention to every detail of our dinner. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive. We trusted the waiters to choose cocktails for us, and their selection was perfect! The desserts were also outstanding—a true culinary celebration. The restaurant has an amazing ambiance: pleasant lighting, elegant décor, and comfortable seating. Thanks to the Russian-speaking lady, we easily made our choice from the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I will definitely be back again!

Amazing Hotel pool and beach, we upgraded to Club Room well worth the cost Larger Upgraded Room and Club Lounge benefits, some of the best staff you will come across makes your holiday special, the pool guys are excellent at finding sun loungers.
