Had a lovely Festive Afternoon Tea..a treat for my visiting mum. It was great…the service from Prajwal and Khushi was more than 5 star. We will definitely come back - the food, the location, the ambiance and the staff were all 10/10!

Loved our recent stay at Fairmont The Palm. The rooms, the facilities, the pools, the private beach, the amenities, and most importantly the service were all epic and amazing. Such a relaxing and luxurious stay and everything was perfection. Don’t hesitate to book!!!

No longer a good hotel

The hotel has deteriorated significantly. It was once a grand spacious hotel, with great facilities and a superb beach. The overdevelopment of the whole area has hugely reduced the quality of the amenities. The beach area is now tiny and both the pool and the beach area is woefully inadequate for the number of guests. This is compounded by a stupid hotel policy where it allows guests from its other Dubai hotel and even non-guests to use these facilities. If you don’t get to the pool before 10am, there is literally no chance of any sunbeds. If you fight really hard every day, beds in the beach are possible, but in no way guaranteed. Both areas are literally full every day. To make matters worse, ordering food or drinks on the beach is extremely difficult. There is a call button on each sunbed table, but you have to embark on a sustained programme of pressing multiple buttons on many tables over a long term period to secure any attention. Even then the service is poor and we ordered items that didn’t even arrive. But the worst aspect was that the hotel is literally opposite an open air nightclub which operates until 4am. In the Saturday night, we measured 105 decibels within our room. We have two young children (4,6) and we were all kept awake for hours until this finally stopped at 4am. I raised this with the hotel and it was all out of their control. They could do nothing and didn’t show any interest in this matter. If you want a family hotel - please don’t stay here. We have stayed 15 times across 20 years and could never return
