Lovely hotel thats classic luxury compared to modern luxury. Really enjoyed the adults only pool, this was a big selling point and not having to queue for sunbeds made the holiday. Rooms are quiet and cleaners were excellent. Great choice at breakfast and opening hours really good. A jacuzzi in the adults section of the pool would have been amazing a with a cold plunge pool. This would make the hotel 100% - please look into implementing this. Sauna and steam room in gym are small. On check in the card terminal offered option to pay in euro or dirham. We choose euro and were charged €250 extra in fees which was an unwanted surprise. I see from reviews this is a common issue so maybe it would he nice for staff to highlight to guests to think about the options as could be subject to fees. All staff from front desk, concierge, cleaners etc are well mannered and go out of their way to say hello every day. Discount for spa treatments for in house guests would be appreciated. Location not an issue for us as we knew we would need to get taxis. We went to different areas each night so staying on the palm and getting a taxi from there was no different. Taxi for airport about €30 and taxi to JBR the walk €10- €14.
