Restful sleep and good service

I had a great stay here during my recent trip. What I like the most is the bed which gave me a good restful sleep. Hotel was clean as well. Had a small injury during my stay and special mention to Tor who helped me around. Tor service level is highly commendable. Would definitely come back again.

The hotel offers a pillow menu and you can choose tempur pillows and more. The concierge team is the best especially TOR! Also the chocolate hour is popular with kids. When i went they had a matcha fountain. The location is not the best because it's more than 10 minute walk to the nearest mall or BTS station. But they offer shuttle service if you can catch it 😉

Feels a bit like a hospital.

Good things - Rooms are spacious. Breakfast is great. GM actually chatting to guests and receiving feedback (thanks so much Rubel - also tgank you for letting us stay in the family room), hotel is low rise so it felt quite homey, even more relaxing with the garden in the middle. Things that can be improved - Service is real bad. Mainly the sound and tone of receptionists/staffs. Every extra service is chargeable - big or small. - On the day of check out, you can’t enjoy your afternoon tea even with the late checkout benefit of platinum member, - as a platinum member, you can have a free room upgrade and a lounge access. When I asked to upgrade the room, they said no because I have booked the highest in the upgradable category! This applies to almost every accor hotel not just Movenpick. I found this unsaid/unwritten conditions if upgrade are cheeky. Normally, hotels would give away some freebies (extra beds for kids for example) so I won’t feel too bad for working hard to be a platinum member just to get nothing. But the reservation manager of this Movenpick said she can’t give unless she discussed with the head of the housekeepers first which sounds very weird. Also strong odor at the wellness wing and in front of the gym. To use sauna/steam. You gotta pay. Tight. - the chocolate hour is not buffet. You have yo queue up (unlike other Movenpicks around Thailand) - afternoon tea is not a buffet line either. It came as a set. Not quite exciting. - you are not allowed to take drinks from the club to the room, unlike many other accor hotels. - there’s no coffee takeaway from the breakfast. Unlike most of the accor hotels. Just tight. One mire thing, I think the peacocks shouldn’t be caged.

While I honestly do not have any excuse for the poor impression created on this occasion, rest assured that I have shared your feedback with our Front Office Manager and re-emphasize to all our receptionists about the genuine, welcoming and friendly service spirit aligned with our Movenpick service standards and provide further training and coaching to the concerned associates to improve the welcome experience and recognition for our valuable guests and loyal patrons. Since I have joined the hotel few months ago, we have put a focus on driving the loyalty mindset from our team and systematically and consistently go above and beyond to look after every guest and create a meaningful experience from the arrival to the departure. It was a pleasure meeting you as I welcomed your feedback, and this gave us the opportunity to take remedy action. Nevertheless, I acknowledge that there is still more improvement to do, and rest assured that we will continue training and coaching our team to ensure a warm, friendly and rewarding experience for all our guests. Island of fun in the middle of the city

Very beautiful and welcoming place to be in. We arrived for 3 days after 3 weeks trip and we got the family 2 badroom suite and it was fantastic. The kids room was perfect with dolls and play zone and our girls loved it. The suit has it all. Very nice and polite stuff. Food was great and the location is perfect. We want to say warm words about oil, she was a perfect host and was super nice. We definitely come back

The hotel is newly renovated and very close to chitlom station. We can enjoy dining and shopping in Central Embassy and Central Chitlom. Many famous brands shops like LV, Prada or even Hermes. Swimming pool is nice and very relaxing. Our room has balcony which we can enjoy breathing fresh air. Bell boys BOY and MUST are helpful who take care of our luggage and work politely. Check in was a bit slow and we needed to wait almost half an hour for tidying p the room. It is the point that I cannot give full mark. But I would recommend to come again if we were in Bangkok next time. 飯店是新裝修的,離chitlom 車站很近。我們可以在 Central Embassy 和 Central Chitlom 享受餐飲和購物的樂趣。許多著名品牌商店如LV、Prada甚至Hermes。游泳池很漂亮而且非常令人放鬆。我們的房間有一個陽台,我們可以享受呼吸新鮮空氣。行李員BOY和MUST都很樂於助人,他們幫我們照看行李,工作很有禮貌。辦理入住有點慢,我們需要等將近半小時才能整理房間。這是我無法給滿分的一點。但如果我們下次來曼谷,我會建議再來一次。
