We stayed 4 days in the Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit. This hotel is very convenient to visit the Town with BTS station very close from the hotel and the rooms have a nice view. The employees are really kind and efficient. We experienced indeed a difficult situation which was resolved by the hotel team: My husband lost his cell phone in the taxi the first day we had in Bangkok… May from the hotel reception team took time to review the video from hotel camera and found the taxi number that bring us to the hotel earlier in the afternoon!! With that number, The hotel contacted the taxi company to ask the driver to come back with the cell phone. My husband was very pleased to recover his phone before the evening!! Thanks again to May!

I'm staying here for a business trip. There was a mistake with my booking by my company but thanks to Khun Nan, the duty manager, she quickly solved the problem. I'm also impressed with how thoughtful she is to switch the room that I'm in so I can stay closer to my family. 5/5 for the service from Khun Nan! The location is convenient, a short walk to Ploenchit BTS station. Breakfast is varied and delicious. The room itself is clean, but maybe the carpet needs more frequent vacuuming? My allergy flares up here. There is no facial tissue. And I think the amenities can use an upgrade. Overall, a nice experience.

Overall, we had a great experience with Novotel Bangkok Ploen chit . All the staff were very hospitable and was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. We would like to thank Golf ,our favorite staff member who was there every time to guide us while exploring new places in Bangkok.

Don't let the looks fool you!

The only good part about this hotel is the room. They were spacious, clean and the layout worked perfectly for my family of four. The site said the room was for a family of four but we did not see how. We had a king bed and a fold out couch. Three, at the most, is what could have slept there. Everything else (service, staff, food, etc.) falls well short of everyone else's rating. We arrived early and understood we could not check in. The female at check in took all my reservation info and more or else checked us in. She stated that our bags would be waiting in our room when we returned. I should have known something was wrong when I saw the reception counter littered with guest passport photocopies. The reception was chaos. The employees were running around confused, flustered and just unorganized. When we returned to get our room, nothing was ready (strike 1), as suspected. They nearly had to repeat the process I went through earlier. I was assertive and eventually got my room key. I saw that our bags were still sitting in the lobby (strike 2) and obviously not in our room. The check in clerk assured me our bags will follow us. We proceeded to our room and 45 minutes later our bags never made it to the room. They must have taken the stairs because we were on the 28th floor. I called the front desk and they had no idea about my bags being taken up. We got frustrated and went down to get our bags and needless to say the bell boy was waiting for the elevator as we were walking out. On the last day we were there, I asked about printing documents and they informed me I had to email them the documents to print. So I emailed them at 0745 to print them and confirm they printed them. We left for the morning and did not return until 4pm only to find out they never printed them (strike 3)! Then the front desk tried to give me some excuse about they do not have the time to print the documents because they are too busy. Again, I was assertive and stern and amazingly they made time. These were my COVID documents we needed to return home and the staff treated it like it was nothing. It is clearly apparent that the hotel management is not doing their job training their staff to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction. Recommendation...find another hotel to stay at in the area. There are plenty to choose from.

I visited this hotel in 2016 to 2022 , dealing with guests was perfect, clening was excellent and the receptionist staff were smily specially the Staff may she was helpful In general the environment was beautiful
