Great Views, Great Suite, and a wonderful Executive Lounge.

A five star hotel with great views of the Bosporus. Efficient as you would expect of a Swiss owned property. The rooms were modern with a bit of a minimalist aesthetic which worked very well. The property has 7 restaurants including an outdoor rooftop setting (in summer). In general the restaurants were good but quite expensive, the rooftop was eye-wateringly so. The Indian restaurant has a very nice setting, the food was good and the pricing more reasonable (for a five star property). The hotel itself is adjacent to a large public park, but had its' own significant grounds of lawns, gardens, and forest which is nice and unusual for a city hotel. They have a nice outdoor pool with plenty of lounges and cabanas , but also a large indoor pool that is part of an extensive fitness complex and spa. We opted for a Terrace Suite (of which there are only a few sadly) which had an outside terrace with direct Bosporus views which was great for relaxing in the late afternoon and evening watching all the constant activity on the water. It also, along with the executive rooms provided access to the Executive Lounge ( with great views from inside or on the outside terrace) for breakfast (quite extensive), afternoon tea, and happy hour which also had a large array of hot and cold appetizers, Champaign, wine, beer, various coffees, and Turkish Tea. All in all the room was outstanding, the service was very good, especially the Ex Lounge Staff, and we recommend it and will come back.

A great place with a Bosphorus view to relax after your Turkish vacation.

This is a classy operation by a hospitality company that knows how to get the details right. The place is beautifully located at the edge of the Bosphorus Strait, though the floor levels are confusing. Our corner view room was worth it for the stunning views of the Bosphorus Strait, Asian Istanbul on the far side and Aya Sofia on the western horizon. We spent beautiful hours in our room, overlooking the water with a glass of chilled Narince in hand. Dolmabahce Palace is literally a few hundred feet from our window but the access is walled off, necessitating a mile long walk. Views from 16 Roof Restaurant are stunning especially at night. It has other restaurants in house as well and after two weeks of relentless Turkish food heavy on meats, I found it relaxing to have dinner at Madhu's, the in house Indian restaurant. The hotel is very well staffed though service is very unobtrusive. A special recognition to the Concierge who was unfailingly helpful and thoughtfully remembered my room number to deliver a special key card allowing us a late check out. A great place to wind down after a Hectic Turkish holiday, we know we will be back.

Best service by the pool

Stayed at Swissotel Bosphorus for one night. Suat at the reception was very helpful and kind. Birsen (Elif) by the pool was extremely helpful and attentive with the service. She is very smiley and always doing her best to meet the guests’ expectations.

The service was 100% and I must mention that the beds and the bedding was something overwhelmingly good. This hotel offers all a traveler, whether on business holyday or what ever. Name it and they got it. Food, spa, gym, conference facilities all is there.
