I opened the door to my room and saw a giant spider on the curtain. I have a phobia of spiders so I went to reception to ask for help in removing it. The receptionist on duty was very rude and impolite telling me that they could not help me as they were busy, I asked for a different room and was refused. Another guest helped me to remove the insect, later on I found 2 more spiders. Later that night the receptionist went to ask to check my room, however the problem was already solved without his help. Lack of empathy and customer service.

We have already apologised on Google and do not need to explain it hier again... we have understood ;) I would still like to apologise here for the inconvenience, but with additional explanations: Here is the statement of the reception team (2 receptionists and a duty manager): "Mrs L. came to the reception on 22.10. to check in. Mrs L. came again to the reception after about 1-2 hours and asked for a change of room, stating that there was a spider in the room. Unfortunately, a room change was not possible as the hotel was fully booked. At this point we were busy with 8 check-ins and 1 customer call. I asked Mrs L. to give me some time. Mrs L. did not want to wait. I then said that I could come to her in about 15 minutes after the check-ins, but this was not accepted. Then a young man (guest) came into the hall with a glass and a captured spider and said that the young woman's problem was solved. We were very happy about this spontaneous help, because he had noticed that Mrs L. was not patient. I went into the room anyway, because Mrs L. had told us that there were several spiders there. Mrs L. opened the door and told me that everything was fine and that all the spiders were gone. Mrs L. sat at the bar with us that night and the following days: "I gave her the tip that if she was afraid of spiders, she should leave the window open, as spiders prefer warmth, which she did. Our team is generally described as friendly and helpful, so I cannot understand your obstinacy after several apologies. Yours sincerely, Frédéric Chopin Managing Director.
