loud, hot, but there's a carrefour downstairs

probably one of my worst stays, No points on ALL loyalty is a start, then I am being charged to store my items behind after check out which is a first time that I have seen compared to other Accor hotels (its giving hostel vibe. The rooms are dated, The ac in the room doesn't get cold and only pumps hot air, so I am forced to open the windows wide to get air circulation into the room which results into having a loud road all night, there were brown "stains" on the wall. The bathroom is seperated by just a plank of wood. Breakfast selection is rather minimal but suitable for a limited service hotel, however even just 1 hot item would be a good lift for breakfast. (probably the only benefit really). Another thing that worried me too is GDPR at this hotel, that when my key card did not work. I gave them my name to verify behind the room number and they just blurted out anyones name that was not mine or my room number. On Saturday when I went down for breakfast, I appreciate that it was busy, but all of our room numbers and the names booked behind them were left behind on a sheet of paper, on a table by the entrance for everyone and anyone to see and or potentially take.

Great location with easy access to the metro and Gare du Nord. The local area is quite vibrant with several bars and restaurants. There is a canal and a nearby park which are pleasant for walking. There is also a super market adjacent to the hotel. The hotel itself is quite basic, as is to be expected from a budget hotel, but it is clean and has all the essential facilities. I was surprised to find breakfast was offered. This was a decent continental breakfast at a reasonable price. The staff were lovely throughout. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget hotel in Paris.

We stayed for an excellent three night mini-break. The hotel was well-located being two stops from Gare du Nord and no more than 40 minutes from any of the attractions we visited (mostly on direct metro rides). It fronts onto a busy street which gives the area a vibrant feel and there are canal and park walks nearby. Local facilities include a small supermarket adjacent and several bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The staff were all friendly and helpful and there was information available on local attractions. considering this was a budget hotel, I was surprised to find breakfast was avaiable and further surprised that it was such a reasonable price. The dining hall got quite busy but there were always seats available. The rooms were clean and had all the expected amenities - no frills, but that's reflected in the price. The temperature of the shower did fluctuate a little but not enough to be aproblem. There were snacks and drinks available from vending machines in the lobby. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for budget accomodation and found it to be very good value. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
