The receptionist who received my booking was the first indication of impending great hospitality. He promised the best room and he delivered. The bar team led by Elvis were very welcoming and accommodative considering that I arrived in the night. I felt at home and will from now on lookout for IBIS as the first choice of accommodation.

Had to pay for parking when disabled, when it was a Travelodge you didn’t have to pay for disabled. The hotel still has all the same fixtures and fittings as previous including only one lift working and in a busy hotel this isn’t acceptable. Had to wait nearly a hour for apple crumble and custard as they were really busy and they forgot about me. Was okay for the price but won’t be staying here again.

Well located, not so good stay

Upon entering the room it had a bit of an awful smell which progressed as the days went on. The carpet had some horrible stains in it, some of the draws in the room simply didn’t work, one of the lights flickered which was rather distracting. The TV also made a humming sound which was rather discomforting
