Good value and convenient location to Heathrow

We chose to stay here as we had a 1 day gap between returning from Ireland and flying back to India. We needed a place near the airport for a one night stay as we had been in London before visiting Ireland so didn’t need to go anywhere. We booked the standard room with 1 double and 1 single bed. It was a large room .. no frills but we had room to move and keep our luggage. The breakfast, for which we paid extra, is good and filling, the cafe cum bar is convenient to get a drink on snack or coffee. The location is close to a Tesco express, groceries and shawarma shops which is good. It’s also on the Heathrow airport terminal 5 bus route making it even more convenient. Recommended for short stays for convenience.

NO HOT WATER

Checked water in bathroom upon arrival, there was NO HOT WATER. I called reception who sent engineer fairly promptly around 20 minutes. He fiddled around in the bathroom without success, then went out into the corridor for a while. When he returned the water was coming out warmish but not very hot. I accepted this, however after an hour the HOT water had returned to cold. In the morning it was also stone cold. When checking out I registered my displeasure at Reception where I received an apology and an offer of a free takeaway coffee ! I said that this was not acceptable and was told that they would phone me later to sort something out. 3 days later I am still awaiting the call !! Another point is that the tap water in the room is NOT SUITABLE to make hot drinks, very very scummy TEA. This is a budget priced hotel probably the cheapest on Heathrow, if you do stay here take your own bottled water and if you like cold showers and shaving in cold water you will be fine.

I've stayed here on several occasions whilst flying out of T3. It's a budget hotel, and the clue is in it's name. I'm staying here again at the end of this month. After a two hour drive to LHR, all I need is a place to rest, something to drink, and somewhere to park my car for 7 days whilst away. All of that for £78, and it saves me leaving home at 3am on the morning of my flight. Seriously, it's not a bad hotel at all, and there are plenty of good places to eat locally if you fancy a few minutes walk.

Can’t fault the location, staff or hotel. Only reason it’s got 3 stars is the beds were very uncomfortable and the doors paper thin that you can hear every conversation on the corridor. Wouldn’t like to use it for a week but if you are flying out of Heathrow or back in transatlantic, it’s reasonable.

Absolute Sh*te storm!!

Hotel didn't have my booking details even though I had all of the correct details and paid up in advance. Hotel shuttle only operates to Heathrow Terminals 2/3 and 5 but not 4 which is where I have an early morning flight to catch, REALLY!! 🤔🤔 Breakfast is not served untill 06.30 so any early flight and you are screwed. A bit odd if you ask me as staying at the worlds busiest international Airport 🤔 Receptionist was quiet rude during the drawn out check in process and asked me for I/D. Something I have never had to show being a UK citizen staying in a UK property 🤔 Lucky I am taking a flight as don't usually carry my passport with me otherwise. Not a great start to my holiday and wish that I'd spent a bit more money and stayed elsewhere and had a nice breakfast, a later bar and all in a more friendlier place. I won't be staying here again!! There are plenty of other options and would advise to give this one a swerve. On a plus note, they have my fav beer, Mahou on tap but hardly any time to enjoy what with the delay at check in and early (for a hotel) closing time.

Regarding transportation, the Hotel Hoppa service is operated by an independent company, and unfortunately, it does not run to Terminal 4. Our standard breakfast service begins at 6:30 a.m., which is clearly communicated on all booking platforms. For guests with early departures, a packed breakfast can be arranged upon prior request — unfortunately, no such request was received in your case. Please note that we are a budget hotel and provide standard facilities accordingly. While we aim to deliver comfortable and convenient stays, our services and amenities differ from those of full-service or luxury hotels.
