Harsh at the reception desk was both courteous and very helpful with our checkin. He has a very warm smile. We managed to get a room with a view outside. The coffee bar, the gym, and the room were all very nice. This was our second stay in a week and you can’t beat the convenience when traveling through Heathrow.

We chose Sofitel T5 because of a late arrival at Heathrow and wanted to have a worryfree night before heading to central London for a quick tour next day. The walk to Sofitel was easy to navigate although longer than expected. I was welcomed by the front desk and was given a surprise room upgrade and complimentary drinks (sorry I forgot your name). It was definitely much appreciated after a long travel day. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a good night sleep. The check out process was easy as we have elected for express check out. Will definitely stay here again next time we stop by Heathrow.

Family room without towels or bedding

This hotel is awful. Do not waste your money. Its is the furthest thing from a 4 star hotel. We booked a family room for an overnight layover. The sofa bed was broken and the room did not have any bedding for it. There were only 2 towels for a 4 person room. It took 3 hours and 3 trips to the lobby to get pillows and blankets for my children to sleep. We never got sheets for the pullout bed. The mattress cover was stained and the room was dirty and extremely outdated. The tub had hair from previous guests. The manager offered us a 10% refund upon checkout and an upgrade for our next stay. We will never waste our money again. The convenient location was the only thing good about this awful establishment.

Was travelling to Greece on Monday the 3rd June so wanted a close hotel to the airport before travelling, arrived on the 2nd June, reception desk staff excellent and upgraded us straight away. Room nice and some drinks in the mini bar which was really good. Had booked the only restaurant open on the day for 19:30, went into an open bar, waiter came and asked what we wanted to drink, I ordered a pint of lager and my wife asked for a glass of Malbec, we were told that the only draught beer was Guinness as they had sold out, also they had no Malbec, not happy at all. We went to the restaurant and saw the menu, not a five star menu for a five star hotel, I had butter chicken and my wife had the prawn starter as there was nothing else she liked. My dish arrived and tasted good, the only issue was the lack of sauce , not enough for the dish, I did mention this to the waiter. Service was good. We then went back to the bar for a drink, sadly the only barman was really stressed and could not cope with the demand, other waiters we’re trying to get there own orders , I heard the barman say where are the managers when they are needed. We left without any drinks and went back to the room. A good night sleep and a lovely breakfast, refreshed for the flight. A lovely hotel spoilt by a basic hotel menu and over worked staff in the bar. Otherwise a lovely time and a good start to the holiday

Our flight from Gatwick was cancelled, a rushed taxi to Heathrow and finding a. Room at the Sofitel. We ended up with a club room which is just a touch above and gives you access to the club lounge. Sujeewa was amazing, he was attentive and made sure we were well lubricated. Always a pleasure to stay here
