Excellent from check-in to departure

We arrived early and wanted to drop our bags but the professional and friendly Receptionist gave us our rooms straight away. Lovely rooms, very clean and spacious. Complimentary water, tea and coffee with a little fridge for milk. We used the restaurant for drinks, a snack/nibbles and a meal. Highly recommend. Great area, 2 miles or a 25 minutes safe and pleasant walk. A local food market and cafe for lunch/breakfast 1 minutes walk. Heathrow Terminal 3 is a 20 minutes taxi. Overall we were delighted, found it to be great value and will definitely return.

I stayed here for 1 night with my 2 children. We usually stay in a Premier Inn, but our usual go to London PI was near enough the same price as this. With the added bonus of breakfast and a swimming pool here we thought we’d give it a go. It’s a bit more difficult to get to from central London and Euston, but we just added extra time for this. We stayed in a superior double room with twin sofa bed. With the twin sofa bed there wasn’t much room to get around, but it was fine. Room was very clean and had great amenities and facilities with complimentary water. I like a firm bed but the double bed was so soft. However, it was actually really comfortable. I’d still prefer a firmer bed though as I sunk into that one. The Aircon wasn’t working in our room so I informed reception. They got me a fan which I requested and maintenance came and reset the air con. It did come on, but didn’t really work very well. Without the fan I think we would have struggled to sleep as it was quite stuffy. The swimming pool was great and there was also a saunarium. Would have been nice to have beds to lie on, but I guess it’s not a spa hotel so the chairs were ok. I sat on a swing seat which was a nice change. One thing I did notice. The hotel was really quiet and we couldn’t hear much from our rooms. I did request a top floor room, as I always do, as I don’t like anyone above us (due to stomping. But this could just be at premier inns). We were given a 3rd floor room as this was ready early and we couldn’t hear anything from above. We weren’t far away from the lifts either and couldn’t hear those. Reception staff were lovely and friendly. The female member of staff who was initially at reception was so lovely and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her. Breakfast was fantastic. A really good choice on offer including fried breakfast, cereals and granolas, fresh fruit and yogurts, fresh pancakes and cheeses and hams. There really was a good variety of food. Would we stay here again? Definitely! If you’re after a good quality hotel, clean rooms with good facilities, friendly staff and within zone 3 of London, give it a try!
