Well located hotel for Miami Beach. The room was pleasant and enough for our 2 night stay. I was frustrated with my welcome drink, part of my Gold membership benefits. Usually I am offered a drinks voucher for me, the cardholder, plus one for each additional guest in the room. At this hotel however we were not offered a choice of drink and instead found a bottle of red wine in our room on arrival. We had not asked for this, and weren’t told at check in that this was our welcome drink. When I enquired at reception as to how to use the drinks vouchers (available via the ALL app on my phone) I was told that the welcome drink was the bottle of wine. This is annoying because I do not drink red wine, nor does my 6 year old son, and so both he and I missed out on having a free welcome drink. We should have been offered a choice of drink rather than having one forced upon us without proper explanation. The breakfast was okay, service was quite slow and the choice of breakfast available to those who had pre-booked with a breakfast voucher was quite poor. For example, we were only allowed 1 small glass of juice but those who ordered from the full menu got a larger glass. Frustrating given the price paid.

While the staff were polite and the room cost acceptably reasonable, the cost for anything in room was ludicrous and there was literally no parking to be had without a pretty long walk or a $40/day valet. This seemed like a bit of a gotcha.

My stay at the Berkeley Park M Gallery hotel was wonderful. The hotel exceeded all my expectations and was very updated and well maintained. The service at the front desk and amenities were excellent! We will definitely return again!
