Je n'ai pas trop compris le concept d'accueillir deux marques dans le même bâtiment (Ibis et Tribe) avec des prestations identiques (taille chambre, espace communs, petit déjeuner) et des prix différents. La taille des chambres est trop petite et la présence de baignoire désuète. Personnellement la décoration est bien trop sombre. Enfin, il est difficile de concevoir de demander aux clients d'acheter leur bouteille pour se servir des fontaines à eau. Novotel fournit systématiquement des carafes en chambre pour le même usage. Enfin, si possible afficher le prix à payer dans l'application en EURO et en monnaie locale permet d'éviter les mauvaises surprises lors du paiement de la chambre. C'est le cas en dnas de nombreux autres pays mais pas en Hongrie.

Le personnel, à la réception, au bar comme au restaurant, est formidable : serviable, professionnel et toujours disponible. Ma demande de chambre en étage élevé a été respectée. La chambre était très propre, suffisamment spacieuse pour un séjour de quatre jours pour une personne, avec une belle salle de bain. La fontaine à eau à l’étage est très appréciable et efficace. La qualité des cocktails au bar ainsi que des plats servis le soir au restaurant est irréprochable, avec des prix corrects. Si je reviens à Budapest, je choisirai sans hésiter cet hôtel.

L’accueil laisse vraiment à désirer. À notre arrivée, la dame à la réception nous a à peine adressé la parole et ne nous regardait pas. Sa collègue, à côté, bâillait et se tenait de manière très nonchalante, ce qui ne donne pas une bonne première impression. Nous avons également eu une mauvaise surprise concernant la facture, qui était presque 30 € plus chère que le prix annoncé sur le site lors de ma réservation. La chambre était propre et jolie, mais un peu petite pour un hôtel 4 étoiles. J’avais demandé une douche et nous avons finalement eu une baignoire. Le petit-déjeuner était parfait dans l’ensemble, même s’il manquait un peu de variété au niveau des fruits et l’absence de Nutella est à noter. Le restaurant est bon, cependant les serveurs sont trop pressants : on n’a pas le temps de s’installer ou de lire la carte qu’on nous demande déjà ce que nous voulons commander. Nous avons rencontré un problème de serrure qui nous a laissés bloqués devant la porte pendant une heure, mais cela a été très bien géré par le personnel présent ce soir-là. Enfin, l’emplacement est un peu éloigné, mais ce n’est pas vraiment dérangeant au vu du cadre agréable et des commodités à proximité.
