Clean and tidy. Some noises at night from other guests, but I needed a place to stay the night as my wife was unexpectedly admitted to hospital and as we live in a country area, I need somewhere to sleep that night before heading back home some 3 hours away.

Raj and the team run a fantastic hotel. Conveniently located, good parking, well maintained and clean. We stay at many Accor hotels and the Mecure Sunshine Coast is one of our favourites due in a large part to the fabulous group of people that work there.

The Mercure Sunshine Coast Kawana costs a bit more the other accommodation close by ,but I feel is worth the extra. Being a short walk to the Sunshine Coast University Public & Private Hospitals ,with a good coffee fix at the Flagship and eating places on the way .Walking paths through parks will take you to Vitality Village and beside that is a shopping center with some very nice eating places. We did stay at apartments close by ,but found them very tired ,noisy and not the cleanest and no extras at all. Mercure's rooms have the best beds ,pillows and the blackout curtains work a treat. The only down side was the lovely deck they have is always locked ,would have liked to sit outside and have a coffee. The restaurant is a bit overpriced for what you get ,but other than that it is the place we would prefer to stay.

Great quiet room, it was lovely for a one night stay, with restaurants/cafes within walking distance. Close to Sunshine Coast Hospital. On site Restaurant has lovely food, a little on the $$ side, but has Friendly staff, clean room. Can highly recommend.

Nice clean hotel free parking 2 minute walk to Sunshine university hospital a couple of nice restaurants with in walking distance reception staff very friendly only one complaint was the bathroom not great water pressure and shower didn't drain well but would stay again
