A 3 night stay over New Year and it wasn't a good experience. The 1st room I was offered was large with amazing views but freezing cold and an inefficient layout. No mirror over the small shelf that doubled as a dressing table; the hospitality tray located on the base of a clothes stand (no wardrobe) nowhere near a plug socket and a large bathroom with no heating. Condensation was heavy on the window, probably following the clean. I was taken to a much smaller room - again freezing and no heating in the bathroom and, discovered later, no properly functioning lighting. Dark shades over 2 of the lamps, no central light and something by the bed which looked like a bird cage and was heavy with cobwebs when I turned the light on. Same ridiculous non-wardrobe/hanging rail also housing the hospitality tray. Had to use the torch on my phone to adjust the heating control or get items out of my case. Heating was provided by an air con unit - completely inefficient as it was positioned over the bed and that was the only space that warmed. Maintenance arrived to find the temperature at 14 degs, despite the unit having been on for over an hour. The inadequate lighting and heating are potential health hazards for older people (I'm 72). My booking was with an external company so the poor to moderate at best food is an issue I've taken up with the company involved. However, as an example of the low standard of hospitality, I requested a single piece of fruit for dessert as both options on offer were ultra processed. I said I'd peel it/prepare it myself to be told it wasn't available for our party. I had a shower at around 4pm and struggled to put on my makeup due to the heavy condensation in the unheated bathroom. I made the mistake of leaving my make up bag on the window sill overnight. By morning, the condensation had formed a pool and the inside of the bag was drenched, rendering the brushes unusable. They were taken to reception to dry out on the oil radiator under the reception desk. Majority of the staff were young and appeared to have had little or no training. By all means employ young people but training is essential and the absence of it was evident in all sorts of ways. How this 'hotel' has a 4 star rating baffles me.

Hotel plutôt vieillot qui manque d'un rafraichissement. (boutons des ascenseurs cassés ou boitier qui tient avec du scotch, joints moisis dans les douches, fenêtres avec doubles vitrages difficile à ouvrir, aspect des vitrages de la salle restaurant encrassé, la zone de livraison dans la rue ne donne pas envie de s'attarder). J'ai l'habitude d'aller dans des hotels mercure en France en meilleur état.

Buono e pulito ma ho avuti un problema con la finestra esterna rotta in una notte molto ventosa. Cibo e colazione buone , oneste e con promozioni interessanti. Personale gentile ma parecchie carenze di manutenzione. Molti sorrisi ma problema non risolto
