I made this reservation as part of the "Chase Edit" program which I have used on many other occasions. Unfortunately, this hotel did not in any way live up to my expectations. The only reason I gave a 2 and not a 1 is because I did receive an upgraded room on check in. Unfortunately, even that room was disappointing as the walls were very thin and we were next to a very loud family with children. If you are a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. We were supposed to receive a 100$ room credit which I excitedly scheduled a spa service which is what I always use the credit for. Upon check in I was told that the credit could not be used at the spa. Upon further investigation, the only place you could use the credit was at the restaurant which was not made evident anywhere prior to check in. My husband and I had plans for meals outside of the hotel during out visit. We would have never used this hotel if these restrictions were made evident. I requested to speak with a manager to see if at the very least it could be applied to parking and there was not manager available all weekend. I requested the manager reach out on Monday... still nothing. In addition, I am pregnant and my husband doesn't drink. The welcome bonuses were pours of whiskey at the bar and bourbon chocolates. While I understand that Louisville is known for their distilleries, it is unacceptable for there to be no alternatives for sober guests. The premise of this hotel is cool however the customer service and the reality of what is provided did not live up to expectations.

We strive to provide a comfortable environment, and I apologize for the disturbances you encountered from neighboring guests. Regarding the property credit, we are sorry for the confusion with our team and it is applicable to (Food & Beverage/Valet/ In-Room Dining/and In-Room On Demand Entertainment). I understand how this may not have been clearly communicated prior to your arrival, and I appreciate your feedback on this matter. Additionally, we have refunded the valet for a total of $37.28 on 12/11/25 and apologize this was not completed at the time of your departure. We also acknowledge your concerns about the welcome amenities, and appreciate your input on providing alternatives for guests who do not drink. We are committed to improving our guest experience and will take your comments into consideration. Please let us know the next time you are looking to stay in Louisville and we would love to make it up to you on your next trip. Thank you once again for your insights. Traveled as part of a work conference and it was an incredible experience. The staff was amazing from front desk check in to the bar and housekeeping. The building is amazing and the art is interesting. It's rare to say that a hotel is a "delight" but this one definitely was.

I stayed at 21c Museum Hotel for a summit. It was an awesome experience. The whole 21c team provided exceptional service! The ambience, the guest rooms, the food - it was top notch. If I have the opportunity to visit Louisville again, I would definitely consider a stay here.
