Randomly ended up here for my husband’s birthday weekend and absolutely loved the property and staff. One of my personal favorite features was the black light bathroom switch…I always bring a night light to hotels for late night bathroom visits (to avoid harsh light) and didn’t even need it! Only critique would be the mattress wasn’t the most dreamy thing I’ve ever experienced and the bathrobes were a bit small for a thicker clientele (and slightly itchy.) Also, a more informed early AM staff (the overnight person was unable to answer questions about changing of the museum exhibits.)

While overall we were happy, I am sad that two things happened. I have high expectations when spending $$$ to stay. This trip was a treat for my mother. We struggled with the coffee; giving the direction of setting the pod in sideways would help future guests unfamiliar with a nespresso machine. And when preparing rooms for guests, you should ensure that the shower head is not pointing out in o the room since it above the heads of most people. My 82 year old mother turned on the water and was hit on top of her head with cold water. Water got all over the floor and she was very surprised. We feel lucky she did not fall. Attention to detail matters a lot. Fixing these issues for the next guests would show you care. Thank you.

I stayed for 2 nights on business. The front desk staff was professional, welcoming and told me about the free Bourbon nightcap. The art in the lobby and in the downstairs gallery is impressive and creates a wonderful atmosphere. My room was large by hotel standards and well-maintained. I enjoyed the restaurant's breakfast, and it was at an average price for a hotel. The bar had an impressive Bourbon collection and was a great way to end the night. I will return when I am in Louisville.
