Not Worth the Cost

To start, the good things about this stay were the staff interactions (everyone customer facing was very friendly and seemed to want to try to accommodate our needs) and the bedding/furniture (very comfortable beds/pillows). The issues: - We had a brief stay but it was more than 1 night and at no time did housekeeping ever come to our room or offer services. - We ordered room service because we had somewhere we needed to be and we felt it would be quicker than trying to get food elsewhere. Originally the time for the food to come to the room was quoted to be about 30 minutes. After about 20 minutes, someone called to the room and noted it would be another 30 minutes. That would make it close but it should have still come up before I had to leave for an event. The food did not come before I had to leave. I spoke with the person remaining behind and the food didn't even come until a full 30 minutes AFTER I LEFT. That means it took 1.5 hours for room service to come. While I understand things take time, we should be notified of this type of expectation ahead of even making the initial order. But for something that cost nearly $200 I would expect for food to arrive on time. Those are the biggest issues. Smaller things are that I have been to other similarly priced hotels that offered much nicer amenities on a daily basis and while I paid for luxury, I frankly could have had the same experience at a Holiday Inn. I will not be returning.

La chambre ne correspondait pas à celle réservée sur le site avec la vue sur la baie et pas de surclassement possible. Pas de serviette pour 4 dans la suite et le lit non fait dans le Canapé sofa. Nous avons été réclamer 2 fois pour pouvoir prendre la douche et se coucher … Un bruit très présent du train juste à côté qui faisait vibrer la chambre dommage pour un novotel. La piscine agréable mais trop petite pour tous les clients
