Today I went for dinner with mom and José Freitas was in charge of our dinner. His service was amazing, his recommendations were very accurate and his ice coffee with vanilla was great !!! We really liked it !!!! 100% recommended !!!! The food was very fresh !!

From the moment I arrived, Myriam greeted me with a warm and genuine smile, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. Her professionalism and attention to detail were evident in every interaction. Whether it was providing insightful recommendations about local attractions, promptly addressing any requests, or ensuring that my room was impeccably maintained, Myriam consistently went above and beyond.

Horrible Front Desk

Was staying at the Novotel for a work trip. Upon checking in the woman at the front desk was very rude. She scoffed and laughed at me when I spelled my name out when giving my email address(sometimes my name is misspelled, so I typically do that), she acted like it was redundant and dumb of me. Why not be polite? It’s literally your job. When I arrived it was later in the day and I was very tired and hungry from my flight. Despite her poor attitude I was still very excited to try their room service. When I tried to scan the QR code on the information flyer I was given at the front desk it kept bringing me to a broken link. I then tried to go to the online menu that apparently had a link to ordering room service, there was a bubble that said “order online”. It was non-clickable. It quickly became apparent that none of their tech was done at a professional level. So I decided to text the number that is also provided to order room service, no one responds for 10 minutes. I am then told to use the QR code which doesn’t work. Someone texts me half an hour later asking if I put my order in, obviously I hadn’t. But I had already decided to order takeout as I was starving. When my takeout arrived they had forgotten to provide utensils, so I call the front desk and ask if I could have utensils brought to my room. They say “no, you have to go ask the restaurant”. How incredibly obnoxious. Isn’t this a 4-star hotel? You can’t provide a guest with utensils? What if I came for my birthday and had a cake and wanted some forks brought up? I would have to go to the restaurant and ask for forks? Well I read another review online where the same thing happened to another guest and they actually went to the restaurant first, were told they had to ask the front desk, and then were told by front desk that they only provide utensils when you order room service from the hotel… that’s just bad service. Other things to note: There are also no microwaves in the rooms. All the furniture is trendy and made with particle board in an attempt to look higher quality than it actually is and you can see the fake veneer of wood peeling off in many of the corners. They don’t even provide conditioner in the shower. If front desk was nicer I would forgive the bad tech and the cheapness of the rooms. Also, “Caesar” salad is spelled incorrectly on the food menu which is just laughably unprofessional to me. I’m nit-picking but this an allegedly 4-star hotel, I would expect a lot better but it’s very evident that the people running this place do not care about customer service.

I just don't like that there's a 35 dollar parking fee every night you stay.

I wish I had stayed at my last hotel. This looks nice online, but the pool area was small and so dirty. The people up there were not helpful or nice at all. I was given a free glass of wine in the lobby, but when I took it upstairs a manager told me I needed to ask for a plastic glass. I said, Okay. I went to the bar and she watched me wait ten minutes for a a plastic cup. Not offering to help. Food and dirty towels and glasses were everywhere. Not crowded. No one attempted to clean up. The key cards needed to move everywhere were annoying as they didn't work. It was a joke amongst everyone trying to help each other. The bed was not comfortable. The shower was messed up and leaking. So in all in all I was ready to leave.
