A bit difficult to give a sincere assessment for a one-night stay, but in this more capitalist world you have to be ready for anything and above all don't complain because everything is for sale at tourist prices. Take it or leave it

Multiple times I was greeted by unpleasant staff, that were not the nicest. I also overheard another guest who was checking out earlier because of issues with the staff. The shuttle between hotel & airport runs only once per hour, and it’s a bit of a distance to get to the city center. Not impossible, but take it into account. The hotel is newer but provides the bare necessities, and it doesn’t compensate for the poor staff, and location. Overall I hesitate to recommend booking here.

Good hotel , with good prices. The inside is classical for a Ibis, although a good care has been taken for the lobby, which feels airy and welcoming. The restaurant is OK, with original choices but limited menu. Breakfast options are limited. The main problem is the relative long distance from the terminal, and with very slow shuttles. I waited 30 minutes in the rain before giving up and calling a UBER.

I chose this hotel as I needed to stay overnight near the airport as I was meeting clients on an early flight the next morning. Situated by the airport technical area there was no traffic around when I arrived in the evening. There was a pre-booked parking space for my larger size vehicle. The reception staff friendly and efficient. Nice room, though would like to have seen tea/coffee making facilities. Very good food served in a very pleasant area near the bar.

This is a new Styles property, adding to the range of Accor hotels at Schiphol Airport. However it is located in the aircraft maintenance area on the opposite side of the airport. The existing shuttle bus to the Ibis and Ibis Budget has been extended to the Styles. However, the shuttle bus frequency has been reduced to hourly. In my case this meant a 55 minute wait. The shuttle bus timetable has enough time for two trips per hour, so it is a strange decision from the Ibis hotels to reduce it to hourly. Also, the bus always used to depart slightly early when it just went to the Ibis and Budget, and still does! There is no excuse for departing early, and there is no excuse for the frequency reduction. At least its a proper bus rather than van conversion. The hotel itself appears to be modern, new build. Many Ibis Styles have a quirky interior design, but this one is very formal (and I like that). Check in was fairly quick, the hotel was very quiet. The rooms are large and modern, and are almost capable of being Mercure standard. I have stayed in mercures which are worse than this Styles. It looks like they had to deliberately reduce some amenities to make in to a Styles, e.g. open hangars rather than a cupboard. The bed was large and comfortable, and being a modern hotel plug sockets were available by the bed (better than most Ibis!). When Ibis Styles was launched a key part of the brand was including breakfast, however over the years this has been diluted. The Schiphol Airport Styles is one that has diluted this brand element despite no obvious reason for it. This again is more like a Mercure, as indeed is whole and large very formal bar and restaurant area. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport already has a nice Mercure, hence why this hotel has probably been pitched as a Styles. Shuttle bus back to the Airport also left early.

We are thrilled to read that you've enjoyed your stay with us despite the recent changes we've had to make due to covid-19 including changing temporarily the frequency of the hotel shuttle. We understand the frustration of our shuttle bus leaving sometimes too early, this is an on-going battle with the third party provider but it shouldn't be your inconvenience at all cost. We apologize and will forward your review to the shuttle provider. Due to covid-19 we've had to decrease the amenities in the room for safety and hygiene perspectives. Upon request we still offer these amenities such as dental kits, shaving kits, shower bags, extra towels or cups and so on. Due to the demand we have indeed increased the variety of price packages offered on our website. We do offer room nights including breakfast for our guests yet at the same time we noticed that there was a demand for guests willing to have no breakfast at all and therefore decided to apply a discount on those room nights to make it more attractive for those guests.
