Perfect location, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. A good location to explore Amsterdam. Great transport links, located next to Central Station and very short journey from the airport. Handy snack shop/take away facility in the main entrance.?

Hotel was TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (1) Heat did not work; even staff on 2 occasions could not get it to work. (2) The 'pop up plug' in the sink was broken....when depressed it would not come up to allow water to drain. Front desk gave me a tool to fix-it myself...WOW! (3) The room phone did not let you call the front desk even though there was a button identified as 'reception' that resulted in me having to go downstairs 4 times to speak with the front desk to try and resolve issues. (4) Soap dispenser in shower did not fit the fixture and fell out of fixture and broke when I tried to use same. (5) Told us there were no extra blankets because the hotel was fully booked but there were able to come up with 2 more blankets which we needed to to lack of heat. (6) Ordered a pizza to bring back to the room and the restaurant was out of 'to go boxes'. AVOID THIS HOTEL.......TERRIBLE. OFFERED NO COMPENSATION.

We understand that a cold room is very unfortunate and apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. We have checked the date and report of your complaints during your stay, we experienced challenges that day with a heating that was slower then usual, however was fully operating after two hours. What I understand from the situation is that my colleagues offered you a different room due to the sink and soap dispenser problem, but you declined. Reservation cancellation for which no solution could be found

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding a major issue with my recent reservation at your hotel.We booked a room under the family and friends rate, considering the proximity of your hotel to Schiphol Airport, which was a significant factor in our decision to book flights through that airport. I was recently informed via email from your reservations team that my reservation has been cancelled. I immediately responded to this communication, seeking alternative options or solutions, but regrettably, I have yet to receive a reply. I must express my disappointment with the lack of attention and care that has been afforded to my situation. We stated that we would come from Canada to Amsterdam and from there we would go to another country. Despite our explanations and calls, you did not direct us to a different ibis hotel. This is truly unacceptable in tourism anywhere in the world.

I was booked here by my office staff in the NL to make a morning flight from the airport. I would not stay here again. Bathroom was not clean. Dishes at breakfast were obviously dirty. Shuttle runs late and is full and it’s a 20+ min trip to the airport. I ended up taking public transport back to the hotel because I couldn’t get on the shuttle after waiting 25 mins for one that was late.

Great Hotel Near Schipol Airport

A great hotel near the airport offers a free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. Belinda was a great help during our check-in process. Free drinks (coffee and tea) in the lobby are available all day. The bedding is clean and ok, it would be nice if they could provide an additional pillow.
