We called the Albury Mantra on Saturday (20/06/2026) late afternoon the same day as our intended stay. Florence was the receptionist at Mantra who made our booking. The room we were allocated on arrival was room 713 , we had a long drive interstate and were very tired with a long road trip the following day ahead so went to bed immediately. Disturbance: Having gone to bed and trying to sleep very loud night club music from a adjacent club kept us awake well after midnight. Not being able to sleep I called reception to report the issue they bought up keys to another room on a lower floor positioned on the other side of the hotel, room 612. We hastily packed up and transfered to that room in our night atire. The 612 room was apparently an upgraded room we are appreciative of that , however the staff member who allocated us our room on check in would have known that Saturday with that room location would be problamatic with noise. The staff meber should have given us an alternative room on the other side of the hotel, this is basic ommon sense! On check out: Throughout the check out process the receptionist on preparing our account didnt once ask us whether we enjoyed our stay, his is very poor, she spent some time reading the notes on her screen we all know why she didnt ask. Again we thought this was very very poor service. At the very least she should have acknowleged the issue and appologised. A gesuture of good will could have been a reduced rate or alterntaively she could have removed the car parking charge None of the above were offered. Not checking in with your guests in that way is unacceptable , we have been returning guests , not that that should matter , but what extra care or service has been gained in this scenairo as a returning (valuable ?) customer ?? From our perspective A BIG ZERO! As said we have have stayed at the Mantra Albury a number of times, check your records. We have on most of our stays found the reception staff to be somewhat cold and aloof. Issues with reservations have occured in the past , our experince with Albury Mantra generally has not been very positive, I would say a 4/5 star out of 10 experience. N.B I must say though the breakfast staff have always been friendly and professional our experiences there have always been positive. We did not request breakfast in our accommodation stay this time. I did ask the receptionist who handled our check out for a email copy of a tax invoice , however that still has not been received. Question : Would I stay at the Mantra in Albury again? Sadly probably not Would I reccomend to family and friends, pobably not. I've gone to the trouble of writing this message in a hope it might serve other travellers a benefit and hopefully your hotel. Happy to take a call from somone senior if it is deemed worthwhile regards Simon A. 04…

Our stay was ok but we both found all the pillows to be way too soft and also the fridge was making noise during the night so we had to turn it off at the switch and also the air conditioning was noisy at night but even when we turned it off we could hear it running in other rooms. all of this affected our sleep on both nights

A completely forgettable experience. Everything went wrong from the moment we arrived till the time we left. Nowhere to stop and unload luggage. An unhelpful receptionist with attitude. No directions to our room were given. We literally had to fend for ourselves until we got our bearings. Hotel restaurant noisier than a busy pub and service was average. Safe was inoperable. Traffic noise was excessive all night. Water pressure terrible and temperature constantly fluctuates. The best part of the entire experience was leaving.
