We had a wonderful time n enjoyed ourselves at the self service apartment. Good staff n excellent pool area spa. place very close to public transport n beach. We loved it. Highly recommended break away from our busy life in Melbourne. Thanks

Room wasn't same as in photos online. No face washers in rooms. Check-in was a nightmare. I wasn't informed about the $500 deposit on check-in, email was never sent to me about it (they checked their system and it wasn't there), and I did not have the money spare. Hotel was quite happy to leave myself and my young children without accommodation. Luckily was able to borrow money otherwise would have been sleeping in the car with 4 young children. Was told money would be back in my bank Sunday on checkout, then informed after it was paid that it would take a week to come back. Huge miscommunication on their end and no help to rectify the situation.

Arrived with little to no instructions about where to enter the car park, called security who were useless and rude. Spent the first half an hour trying to find the car park. The hotel stinks, is outdated, and there are no quilts. Only sheets on the bed. The only good thing is the pool and the location.

Definitely go to a different Mantra Circle or Legends. Upon arrival at the reception, I was greeted by the rudest reception manager Ho. He kept talking over me and continued to question and justify his questioning about my credit card, and insisting that this hotel had a $500 bond required and saying that all hotels had different terms and he could screenshot it and send it to me if I needed to. I will request a screenshot. I've since looked on each website, and I believe he has unfairly targeted myself and my family. I have spolen to another family who said the recption waived the bond today because they were Accor silver members. Well, so are we. Ho, spoke over me in a condescending tone saying that was reserved for Gold members only. It must've been a sight as the woman next to him was enjoying the rudeness and snarled cheekily whilst I tried to keep my cool. He was very intense. The person who had just left him prior to me was also very unhappy with him. We'll never return. The apartment that we paid $1400+ for 2 nights and a $500 bond was tired. The beds are wirey, and the beds are made with sheets. There is a blanket in the cupboard for your convenience. Whilst the hotel boasts close proximity to Chevron Renaissance mall the rudeness of staff just doesn't cut it nowadays. I've literally just called reception for advice and the woman on the other end was so damn rude. Couldn't and wouldn't help me and said she was there for emergencies and reservations yet she couldn't help me with mine. Do better. Absolute dive.

It is disappointing to read your arrival experience with the property was not a positive one on this occasion however I can assure you the Assistant Manager was attempting to explain the Pre-Auth/Bond to yourself and can assure you that he is correct in saying there is a $500.00 security hold for a 3 Bedroom Apartment which is what you had booked. I can assure you at no time was your family being targeted as stated in your review. We have noted your comments regarding the room to investigate further. 3 bedroom apartment very outdated, broken vanity, rusty light fittings, old appliances, TV not much bigger than an iPad. Vents not cleaned at all, damages to walls and doors. Poor quality
