Average experience, some good, some bad, like a tiny bathroom, but good access to everything.

We stayed in R1204, overlooking the pool, a single room with queen bed, no kitchenette. Overall the room was good, but had a tiny bathroom, not much bigger than a cruise ship. The bed was comfy, balcony not large but OK to sit and have coffee. A/C was a little noisy but worked well. The fridge seemed to work intermittently, and produced a lot of internal water. Hot water was very good, and the shower stall was large (no bath), taking up almost half the bathroom. The vanity unit was near useless, having no drawer and an underneath space taken up by towels and toilet rolls. There was no shelf. We could not tell that the extractor fan was working, as with a shower, the bathroom filled with steam. On a Sat night, the room was noisy until about 0300. These were passing things though. The hotel location was very good, with many surrounding restaurants, a Woolworths below. and close to the light rail and the beach. Check carefully before booking if there is good access to the pool, as (Jan 2026) they are doing renovations and closing the pool between 1000 and 1600.

ビーチ沿いのレストランや店舗が集中するエリアで、立地は最高。トラムの駅、両替店、セブンイレブン、スーパーマーケットなども1ブロックの範囲内。ベランダが快適で、食事を買って帰って食べていると思しき滞在客がたくさんいた。ビーチタオル、ネスプレッソ、シャンプーコンディショナーボディーソープが無料、室内金庫もあり。コインランドリーも使用できた。ロビーの軽食コーナーは周囲の相場と同じくらいの料金。 ゴールドコーストでいちばんにぎやかなところなため、夜遅くまで音楽が聞こえてくるのが、人によっては難点。

We have just returned from a five-night stay at Novotel Surfers Paradise in a Superior Ocean Front room. The positives first: the location is fantastic, right in the heart of Surfers Paradise and close to everything. The room was spacious, the ocean views overlooking Cavill Avenue were excellent. Check in was smooth and a special mention to Nathan, who was wonderful. I had bought flowers and chocolates for my friend’s room as she joined us for one night to celebrate our birthdays and he made sure everything was beautifully arranged, including a bottle of wine and a cupcake, which was a lovely touch. Unfortunately, several service details were lacking throughout our stay, which was disappointing given the hotel’s reputation and pricing. There was no spare toilet roll in the room, only the one already on the holder, we had to contact reception to get more. The soap dispenser in the shower ran out and was not replenished. Milk was not replaced after housekeeping and rubbish was not removed when the room was serviced. There were also no plates or cutlery provided in the room. When I called reception, I was initially told to collect them from the restaurant myself. After raising my concern, I was advised they would be delivered, however after waiting 40 minutes nothing arrived and I ended up collecting them myself so we could eat our takeaway on the balcony. There were times when no one answered, it took a few calls to get through or you just give up all together. Pool service lacked attention to detail, with empty cocktail glasses not cleared when new drinks arrived. A receipt also fell from the tray and was left to blow away in the breeze until I picked it up myself. Breakfast was extremely busy and appeared understaffed. Cutlery was not replenished the staff member cooking eggs was clearly overwhelmed managing multiple orders. While these may seem like small things individually, together they detracted from what should have been a quality stay. Having worked in hospitality for over 20 years, these are the basic details that make a difference. Great location and views, but service consistency needs improvement to match the price point.

ルームキーピーングを依頼したが、グラスは新しいものに交換されず、洗面台で洗ったような形跡があり、洗面台に濡れたまま放置されていた。 バスタブ付きの部屋で予約をしていたのに、付いておらず、フロントに問い合わせても調べる素振りもなく満室なため対応不可と言われた。予約人数分のアメニティ、タオルが設備されておらず不足分を受け取りにフロントへ行くと部屋に持って行くと言われたがいつまで経っても来ない。 サーファーズパラダイスからも近く立地は素晴らしいのにサービスが残念。
