The Cullen is in a fantastic location in Prahran. It's opposite the historic Prahran Market, and a two-minute walk from Chapel St. If you need to go to the City, there is a tram out front on Commercial Rd. The hotel is modern and a bit quirky, with good-sized rooms. The mattress I had was a little uncomfortable as it tilted down slightly from the centre. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Compared to the available Airbnb properties in the area, the rate was very good.

Very good aparthotel, in a great part of Melbourne. However, the couple we were with had to complain about unclean sheets in their room.

I stayed at The Cullen, Melbourne - Art Series for 1 night with my wife, in October. On arrival, we were disappointed to discover that there were no food or beverage outlets at the Hotel, as the license had not been renewed - not sure if this was an oversight or if it was deliberate, but disappointing, none the less. The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance of several bars and restaurants, so not a major problem. I booked a Suite on the Penthouse floor (6th floor) expecting something to special to remember and whilst the room was very pleasant, it was probably the smallest 'Suite' I had ever stayed in and had no bath! It also did not have any USB outlets in sockets, which was a pain! Overall, my experience of the hotel really came down to the room - which was nice, but definitely over-priced and under-facilitated. Quite frankly, there is better value elsewhere in the area - bigger rooms, with better facilities (like a bath and a view). Finally, I should mention the parking fee - $30 per day. This was reduced to $15 if you signed up to be a new Accor loyalty member, which I did.

Camera molto bella e pulita. Posizione comoda all’interno di un bel quartiere residenziale, molto tranquillo e vicino al centro di Melbourne. Personale cordiale. Per rendere questo soggiorno perfetto, alla cifra pagata sarebbe perfetto aggiungere la colazione, all’interno della struttura o in qualche bar all’interno del mercato di Prahran, molto carino, fra l’altro.

O hotel está dentro de uma região cool, estilosa. Não fica muito proximo do centro corporativo (15 min by bike), mas está na área ideal para quem curte algo descolado, chopp e uma balada. Em envolta do hotel estão os melhores bares.... O hotel é bonito por fora e sensacional por dentro. Os quartos são espaçosos, tem serviço de lavanderia, bikes para alugar e free wifi. O atendimento é ótimo, bem como os dois restaurantes do hotel.
