An excellent location ! Everything from the room (we had a two bed apartment) to the buffet breakfast, poolside service , the pool itself and the grounds were amazing ! We stayed four nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Very recommended especially if you have kids.

We stayed here for over a week, and had 3 rooms between families. The staff are mostly helpful and friendly but management let them down. Below a list of problems we faced. - one room had construction above them (staff claimed they 'thought' it had finished - doubtful and had to move. - the aircon in new room broke, it was fixed and I think by this stage we knew we were frustrated and gave one night FOC which was appreciated. - they were down to one beer (out of almost a dozen) for 5 days. While I appreciate there were supply issues - the bottle Shops were stocked - just go buy a few varieties and put them in. Could not get a lager for days. There were extremely long wait times at the bar with only one bar staff on most of the time - felt sorry for them. - our mattress was upside down for 5 nights. We wondered why it was uncomfortable - this wasn't even met with an apology, I found this very disappointing . We had to point it out. The fact there wasn't compensation offered for this was incredulous. - I had to leave early for a wedding (staying at another Accor property in Melbourne) and my wife checked out and wanted to use the credit card that was left at the desk. Staff repeatedly told my wife there was no pre authorisation taken, which wasn't True, another account had to be used. Not the end of the world but a bitter taste right at the end. Overall for what we paid, and having 2 x Accor plus members (one gold) it was quite disappointing to see how this was all handled.

Dissapointing stay!

Hands down the worst Peppers I've ever stayed at. I would recommend booking elsewhere rather so your holiday isn't ruined like ours. The rooms are dated and smell mouldy, the bed is so terrible and sagging in the middle it's hard to get a decent night's sleep. The restuarant does not stay open for the times stated on the website so if you dont go out to eat after tours you will get back to your hotel and be caught out not having any dinner. Not great of you have a hungry 3 year old! In fact as I type we now have been told the restuarant has closed due to sickness so there is no food at this hotel and no delivery options so you have to go out, which itself is a pain with a family consisting of children and older folks as the location is a bit of a walk in the dark and rain. There is no shittle option either so you would need to take a private option ($11 per person). We are a group of 12 and all have the same experience, so it's not even just a one off. On that note, if you are travelling in a group it's not been a good option. We were allocated rooms on on each corner of the resort. The pool is relatively small and needs maintenance, but at least has water in it. Considering how much staying here costs (they are one of the most expensive options) I can't even describe how dissapointed we all are in our experience here and would definately not recommend it. Terrible!

Amazing lagoon, clean rooms, and conveniently located a few minutes walking outside of Port Douglas! The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were very reasonable and were more akin to suites rather than a simple room. I’d stay again!

I relocated to Peppers from a different hotel for just one night, only to be very positively surprised by how good this place actually is. - Location is superb, 5 mins walk from the 4 mile beach, right in the centre of Port Douglas. - The building is beautiful, and rooms are comfortable and clean. The decor is “hospital white” - not my favourite, but the inside and the outside fit in well together. - There is a cute little restaurant downstairs serving Japanese/ Western fusion menu - including vegetarian dishes - and the food and wine are really good. - Last but not least - the service is great. The staff at the reception desk are super friendly and helpful. Even though my stay was very short, it seems like they are putting their heart into running this place - and it works.
