Laurice best bartrisa coffee maker the food was great , we are looking forward to seeing you again. The buffet was a great breakfast meal with family .much appreciated to walk out happy for the day thank you .Berry ice tea was fresh 😋

We had a wonderful family holiday at the Mantra Hotel in the Gold Coast, Australia. The room was spacious, accommodating four of us comfortably with two queen-sized beds. The family had a fantastic view of the surroundings. We also chose to stay on the porch, which provided an excellent vantage point to enjoy the outdoor scenery. However, there was one minor issue with the shower—it was quite tricky and didn’t function very well.

Terrible Breakfast

Breakfast at $32.00 each was a major let down. All our food was cold & a lot of it was not very nice at all. The beans & the mince had a terrible taste there was no choice with eggs just scrambled or nothing.

We would also like to clarify that while scrambled eggs are our standard offering, fried or poached eggs are available on request, and we’re always happy to accommodate where possible. I have stayed in a lot of places all over the world and this hotel is worse than most highway motels, and by a long way. The pictures are real and what’s not shown is the you could not use the wardrobe as the doors were broken and would not open but the smell…. My god we were nauseous being there for 10mins. We were changed to a different room and it was worse!!! Needless to say we booked another hotel block away and left as fast as we could.

Mantra on View is perfectly situated in the heart of Surfers Paradise. One of its best features is the location; it is only a short walk to the beach, yet just far enough from the primary "strip" to avoid the overwhelming noise and crowds. It offers the perfect balance of being central without feeling chaotic. The accommodations were impressive. Our room was very spacious and featured two comfortable double beds, which is a plus for travelers needing extra space. • The View: The balcony provided an outstanding panorama, combining the city skyline with the ocean. Pro tip: Aim for a room on a higher floor to get the best possible vantage point. • Housekeeping: I was particularly impressed with the housekeeping staff. They were excellent, keeping the room pristine throughout our stay. The only major disappointment was the buffet breakfast. For a hotel of this size and caliber, the quality was surprisingly poor. While the selection was standard, the food lacked any real taste or finesse. • The Egg Station: The live omelet section was unfortunately terrible. The chef seemed disinterested, serving burnt and tasteless eggs. • The Highlight: The only saving grace for breakfast was the barista. Though it requires an extra payment, the coffee and hot chocolates were high quality and much better than the buffet offerings. I would definitely stay here again for the rooms and the location, but I’ll be heading to a local cafe for breakfast next time!
