The worse customer service

The worse custemer service I ever see. I booked for holiday with friends. I tried to contact the hotel regarding adding anther gest to my room via 1. Emails ( 2 emails sent ) without replay . 2. Phone call was not answered or called back. I expect the worst service when I go there. I wish I can cancel the booking , Unfortunally it is not refunded

Middle of the road type of hotel, not great but not terrible and likely would benefit from some financial investment to improve the condition of the rooms. Over all the location is great, close to the action without being too close where you may never sleep. The room cleaners were very helpful and polite and I feel often aren’t recognised when it comes to reviews. The breakfast was fine, the chef and wait staff were pleasant and the food had a good amount of options. Surfers Paradise is no doubt a very competitive market with so many options for accommodation at all price points and I feel this hotel was just below par of what I expect and have experienced from this brand in the past. The young gentleman who checked us in was very enthusiastic and well mannered and I feel has a good future in hospitality. Some of the other front desk staff seemed to lack product knowledge and were not so customer centric unfortunately. An example was a vending machine on premises that took our coins but didn’t supply the bottle of water. We were told that this vending machine was seperate to the hotel and independently run. Well no signs on the machine noting this and we felt brushed off by staff when we raised this issue.

Mouldy bathroom, balcony with trip hazards, worst breakfast buffet breakfast of my life! ADDED BONUS-UNFRIENDLY SEEVICE!

Mouldy bathroom, unsafe balcony with trip hazards (I had a near miss from 19th floor balcony!) Tasteless cooked breakfast: everything cooked by the chef was absolutely worthless, including basic food such as scrambled eggs, mushrooms etc. Unlabelled breakfast items, unfriendly service - where do I stop? Seems like there is a serious issue with the management and lazy staff of this hotel. SHAMEFUL AS THE STAFF HERE ARE SPOLING THE NAME OF MANTRA HOTELS!

Won't recommend and won't be back

Although the parking is next door, not any lifts, have to walk a steep ramp to reception, not disability friendly. After completed an online booking and paying in full, was still made to pay $200 extra for a security deposit for one night. Not impressed. Room with a view is where it stopped. Beds were average, not super comfortable. Black mould in the bathroom basin. ( see photo

Poor attention to detail for the disabled

I booked two rooms, one for our overseas family and one for my husband and myself. My husband has a disability and requires a walk in shower. This information was given when the booking was made but was not available at check-in. Unhelpful staff members who disregard requested needs. If I had been told that the room required was not available I would have booked elsewhere. This placed my husband at a great falls risk. Even mildly disabled people deserve the appropriate treatment when requested and if not available then the booking should not be accepted. The parking also was problematic as the parking area does not have a lift and is accessible only by a large and very steep staircase. When disability is flagged the booking should be reviewed and discussed to ensure safety of the clientele. Very poor service in a first class country
