Lack of bathroom privacy as bathroom is in bedroom separated by slats

The lobby and pool areas are lovely but the rooms are disappointing. We paid extra for an ocean view room. Room was small and ocean was somewhere in the far distant horizon. We moved to a larger room with no view at our expense but in both rooms the bathroom is literally in the bedroom. The only thing separating bathroom sounds are timber slats with no glass and the door is just slats as well. Towels are threadbare with holes. If you or your partner awake or go to sleep at different times, having your bathroom in the bedroom affords no privacy. Apparently, all rooms have similar bathroom set-ups. Breakfast is served at another hotel a few minutes walk away. Would never go back.

Absolutely loved our stay here ! Our ocean/ pool view room with spa was great , spacious, comfortable bed and pillows and very well equipped kitchen. Location was great close to beach and some great restaurants nearby , we can’t wait to go back .

I stayed in a spa room which was a good size. Couch smelt of body odour. Bathroom taps were surrounded with grime, clearly not cleaned in months. Shower had no shelf so the hotel shampoo conditioner and body wash were on the floor of the shower. The top bed sheet was torn. The bottom bed sheet didn’t reach the end of the bed. Towels had holes. I stayed here as friends said it was good 1 year ago sadly it is no longer which is a shame as the location to the beach and shops is good.

Stayed 3 nights in September were double charged First when we arrived and again when we departed They acknowledged that we paid twice we also had our bank verify we but we are still waiting for our refund According to their reviews we are not the only ones recently. Keep fobbing us off with the same excuse. All we want is our money they were happy to take it. Please if you stayed recently check your bank statements

The location was great to explore the surrounding towns. Check in was easy - room was clean. We stayed in room4106 which was a one bedroom with lounge and kitchen. As we were on the ground level we looked over the gardens (which were lovely) but also the BBQ area. The issue was that there was a spotlight overlooking the BBQ which shined directly into our room. It was still on at midnight and I rang reception multiple times and the duty manager said he was sorry but there was nothing he could do. Not the best night sleep.
