Beautiful Australian Open Stay

Stayed at this beautiful hotel during the Australian Open. It was convenient to be able to walk to the Australian Open (approximately 20 mins) or easy access to the free trams. Location was great for shopping, a variety of restaurants and food courts. Bourke Street on Russell tram 96 takes you to the Sky Bus at Southern Cross Station, it was only a 5 minute walk from this tram stop to the hotel which was great. Staff provided exceptional customer service, they were always friendly and polite. Cleaning staff were very professional and hotel/apartment room was extremely clean. The apartment was very spacious and provided cooking facilities. My room had a shower and bath, laundry facilities, wifi. Although I did not have the buffet breakfast at the hotel there was a special deal if you booked in. The pool, spa and dining area was relaxing after a day of walking around the melbourne city.

I stayed for nearly 4 weeks and again it was excellent. The room was a 1 bedroom premium apartment which had great city views and good sized balcony on a high floor. The apartment was spacious and well furnish with a nice bathroom and a good sized fully equipped kitchen so if you want to prepare a meal you have all. Sleep quality was excellent with blackout curtains and once the balcony door was closed very quiet and a very comfortable bed. The only thing I dint like was the removal of the drying rack, which housekeeping told me to use the dryer...and the use of the dishwasher by housekeeping for 2 cups, 2 places a couple of glasses and a couple of pieces of cutlery...not idea for a green hotel. Breakfast in the restaurant is buffet with the basic selection of hot foods, eggs cooked on request and a good selection of pastries and cold food, all of which was maintained frequently. Overall the breakfast was good except for 1 order of egg benedict whith the sauce tasted like pure mustard so only managed a few bite of it. When I told the waitress this she just said ok and cleared the plate. The other eggs bene on another day and it was perfect. The standout staff in the restaurant was Gudar who made each morning a lbit brighter and always made me feel like a valued guest so thank you Gudar. Check in and check out was very smooth and easy and all throughout my stay the front office staff were fabulous with additional requests handed with a smile and I had many chats with them during my stay so again thank you all for making my stay so good. A big thank you to James, Tim, Van, Sas, Anabelle and Anthony (who I only met in the last few days) you are all great ambassadors for Accor and Mantra. The location is perfect with Chinatown on a minute away, many great restaurants to try, on site parking (extra cost) and all the major theatres and publick transport all with minutes pf the hotel. Looking forward to seeing you all again very soon

We had just one night in a studio room which was lovely and big, clean and appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine and fruit to help celebrate our anniversary. Staff friendly and easy parking just next door. Would definitely stay here again.

The team that looked after us on our stay, headed by Timothy have provided us with first class service, one of the best with Accor Group that i have ever experienced. Their promptness and service standard is really exceptional and seamless. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a city staycation. location is superb and most importantly the room is so clean.

Great hotel, lovely rooms, very clean. Amazing location fairly close to Bourke Street Mall. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bit disappointed the bar was closed and could not get our four complimentary drinks. Lovely buffet breakfast and really liked the cute little restaurant. Nice selection of food.
