A hidden gem in Brisbane

Excellent location in Brisbane. So close to most places of interest. 450 mrters walj to Brisbane Central Train Station. Just 500 meters to the restaurant hub of Howard Smith Wharf. Queensland Performing Arts Centre QPAC is 2 km away. One km to famous Queen Street Mall. Clean rooms. Very friendly front office staff.

SCAMMERS Don’t Go to this awful place Mantra are affiliated with scammers who charged the fees in $US and have refused to refund the enormous overpriced fee of over $800. They are a disgraceful company and have ruined my holiday. Save your money and choose a hotel that doesn’t have to cheat people

Reception staff were great. Location is good. Our room smelled musty so we left the window open, Our key stopped working so we had to go and get it recharged. The car park is a real maze with poles everywhere. This would all have been more annoying if the reception staff hadn't been so nice.

I was disappointed in my stay at mantra on queen for the following reasons: 1. Unidentified male entered room while asleep, door did not securely lock. Faulty key card or lock. This door opened without a key. 2. Hot water only worked for one shower. 3. No blankets on bed only a sheet. 4. Ironing board faulty, would not stay upright. 5. Window would not close securely. Staff were very apologetic and respectful however I believe they need more support from management. I was given 4 lagers as compensation, not sure if this was the correct compensation but it was what the lovely reception staff offered. Couldn't fault staff with what they have to work with. Although this was a convenient location for my visit... I'm not sure whether I would stay here again.

Lovely Stay away from Home

We had a wonderful stay away from home with Mantra on Queen. Lovely views and comfortable rooms. The aircon worked perfectly and the apartment style of the room made the stay extra nice. Daily servicing was included in the price as well. The view was incredible day and night. The staff are exceptionally helpful and pleasant. It was a very clean and bright atmosphere. The Hotel location is a short walk to Queen Street Mall, Fortitude Valley and many restaurants and micro-breweries. There are plenty of pubs and nightclubs around as well as the Showgrounds close by. Hubby and I were overly satisfied with our stay. Thank you, Mantra, and an extra Thankyou to Chloe McTaggart on reception for her helpful, friendly and professional customer service.
