We booked the accommodation for a business trip. We were there 4 nights in separate rooms. The rooms were not serviced while we were there, and the restaurant was not open for breakfast for 3 of the 4 mornings we were there. The restaurant was not open for dinner at all. Some of the equipment in the gym was missing. The rooms were clean when we arrived.

I booked this via the app and despite my confusion, after a long week, re the booking and address, the check in manager was very patient and helpful. Plus the gift of wine and chocolate was unexpected but very lovely! Huge room, very clean and quiet.

$300 for a LOST KEY. Almost equivalent to the cost of my Accor Membership

I deeply regret choosing this hotel as my accommodation for the 2 weeks holiday in Melbourne. I was made to pay $300 for a lost key. Doesn't matter if you're an Accor Member or what but the lost key costs $300 and it's non negotiable. Better get a nicer accor hotel near the city, than this one. They're unforgiving with the cost and will give you reasons like the owner/investor can be overseas so - - it's costly-- to process paperwork for a lost key. Let's be real.. I'm a property investor myself and I know how things work and why you need to get an insurance. Even the cost of the apartments in this hotel is not as expensive because it's aged. Also,the door barrel of the room I booked was already very aged and the lock was broken. I even took a video of it. My disappointment of this hotel's 'policy' had me questioning my membership with Accor and the likelihood of wanting to continue booking with their hotels given that I get the same deals and better treatment from other hotel group brands. This incident felt like a scam as they had it in their policy signed when you check in that 'it's $300 for the key', and we didn't even know that till we lost the key. Thank you Mantra for such a traumatic experience

Very good experience. I requested a room change after check in and they facilitated that request timely just a few hours. Location was accessible to tram and made it easy to commute. Facilities in the room were clean. However locks on the door, alongside the chain will be useful

This is our third time staying at this hotel and we'll keep coming back. First time as parents though and it did not disappoint, only made the experience more enjoyable with the amount of space. Dishwasher and dryer inclusive in the room, which makes it handy for kids mess and quickly cleaning it up. Breakfast was delicious and filled our little kiddies tummys and the adults didn't complain either. Parking was perfect as we hit Melbourne on foot, but when necessary was good to have the car there also.
