Excellent service pleasure to stay here and will do again. Rooms were large and very accomodating to my needs. ADI the clerk at front desk was a pleasure to talk to and handled all of my needs with more than expected. Clean and presentable appearance

Have stayed here a few times now and it is what is expected for a 4 star hotel. Staff were lovely and accommodating and tended to all my needs. Accor plus member so was offered discounted parking which I took up. No breakfast offered as no working restaurant onsite although there is a chit restaurant attached to hotel but independent. Ideally located on edge of city.

great location due to the fact that the CAT bus stops just along the street. Apartment a bit tired looking especially the bathroom, but clean. Great to be able to do our washing in the room and enjoy a drink on the balcony. Reception staff really lovely and helpful. Would stay again

A disappointing Experience

The first room we were offered was on the ground floor, with a view of the rubbish bins and the road, I asked for a better room. The next room was on the 7th floor I think, the room was a lot brighter, but very tired furniture that was chippd and broken, down the side of the fridge was filthy and there was no attention to detail anywhere. The lounge was dirty and we really did'nt enjoy our time in the Mantra. This hotel hasnt recovered well from Covid and needs some time and money spent to bring it up to a reasonable standard again, the standard that we know and expect form this group. A very disappointing experience overall. There were at least one lift out of action and on some days two of the three lift were not working.

Shocked that it's worse than Airbnb. Not like a hotel no housekeeping for days and dryer broke down. Place is old and musty. Mould on the curtains. Beds are connected into king v uncomfortable, sheets are not tucked in , by next day sheets/ doona all exposed. How can this be part of Accor?
