Such a sensational welcome and attention by staff. Restaurant staff greeted me and welcomed me back which was unexpected. The room was exceptionally thought including a large spa bath, shower plus a seperate lounge and luggage room. This hotel could certainly fit the profile of a Pullman and with the amazing views over the Swan River, what else could you ask for? Thank you to all the staff for being such amazing hosts and look forward to my next stay.

Don’t order the beef cheek! It is the size of a zippo lighter and despite my best attempt could not stab it through with a steak knife. Hard, crusted, dry not digestible molecule of meat for $41. Rooms are as expected for the calibre, clean, neat and comfortable. About my 30th visit here, 4 nights on this occasion. Will be dining out for the remainder of my stay. Sent the beef back and swapped to the lamb cutlets, generous 2 cutlet portion thin as a napkin hahahhahaa No bread available, oh hang on let’s see the menu, charred focaccia, glad everyone here is all over their jobs.

Room was average, paid for a Superior King. Walls were damaged, could not see through the dirty window, that kind of thing. Parking was an additional $70 for 2 nights. Main thing we noticed was both times at Senses restaurant we dined there, the breakfast selection was cold. For marginal additional cost we really preferred the Duxton. Was a 3 star kind of hotel experience at Novotel.

End of July 24: Stay/Carpark/Dinner/Drinks: This hotel ticks all the boxes. Lovely, enjoyable stay with dinner and drinks. Staff conducted their duties in a professional manner and all in a congenial atmosphere. Pull your chair closer to the screen to read the next statement... they have "complimentary" sparkling water machines (on tap) in the foyer/dining/lounge area.

Went for a special event, a Degustation Dinner with wines from Vasse Felix. Food was beautifully presented and delicious, complementing the wines, thank you Chef Shibu. The staff we interacted with were very professional but human and friendly. Have stayed before and would stay again.
