Incredible and spacious room (was upgraded by the staff for us). Had a lovely view, comfy beds, lots of shops and places to walk to nearby. Rooftop pool was beautiful, only wish we had more time to stay and use it more. Was a fantastic trip and would absolutely visit again!

We were given an upgrade to an apartment which was spacious & had kitchen and laundry facilities. The room was modern & clean with the free CAT bus at the doorstep. Swimming pool on the roof was a bonus. Would recommend a stay at Mantra on Hay in Perth

Pros: LOVE the location, very central, walking distance to many tourist spots and Hay Street area. (Perth also has a free bus service for certain routes, and the CAT bus stops were just outside the hotel.) Uber is cheap to book for destinations a little further away. Very large one bedroom apartment, love the size. Really liked that there was a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Nice balcony but not a great view (6th floor). Staff were nice, some even quite friendly. Very reasonable pricing. Cons: My one bedroom apartment was supposed to have a fully equipped kitchen. The cutlery were mismatched. The frying pan / skillet was scratched up and unusable. The stainless steel pots were not properly washed. In fact, I had to thoroughly wash every piece of crockery, glass and cup before using because there were stains and marks all over. The dishwasher did not wash well, so I hand washed everything. There was a pervasive musty dank smell all over the hotel, and inside the room. Carpet had old stains. Black cushions felt grimy and had dust sticking to them. My bed was uncomfortable, there was a dip in the middle, the sheets and pillowcases smelled sour. The wall separating the bedroom from the room next door on the other side is very thin, and I was plagued by a supersonic snoring from 10pm to 7am every single night (I stayed for 8 nights). I didn't want to make a room change because I had already unpacked everything, and I didn't think the reverberating snoring sounds would persist throughout my 8 night stay. :) I was wrong. Summary: If you are looking for 5 star luxury, give this a miss. Barely makes a good 4 star hotel because of the dilapidated conditions. Don't believe the photos in the official hotel website. Those were probably taken when the place was brand new. I'd give my experience 3.5 stars, but there isn't a half point option here. So I'm giving it 4 stars just because the staff were nice, the good size of the space, the convenience of the washing machine and dryer, the kitchen, the excellent convenient location, and the reasonable price. Would I return? I think I might, just because of the these positive aspects, but I would know what to request for the next time around, to make the stay better than this one. (P.S. It didn't matter much to me, but be forewarned that there is no welcome drink for Accorplus members, they don't have their own F&B facility. The China Panda restaurant is not part of the hotel and the food is at best average.)

Enough amenities, bad bad bad view, lumpy pillow, friendly staff.

I am traveling for work for 6 nights and booked a 1 bed apartment as I was bringing my teen children with me. The room is spacious and clean - ample for the three of us. The staff are very friendly. The airconditioner works well. The water pressure in the shower is strong. There are plenty of coffee shops open early nearby, and a handy 24 hour convenience grocery store around the corner. The king size bed is large and reasonably comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with a full-size fridge ample enough if you are staying for a longer period of time. However, there are some significant drawbacks. We requested - and paid for - an additional bed. It was kindly made up for us ahead of time, but the $40/night (!!) pays for a sagging, rusty rollout bed. We asked for an additional towel, and none came after 24 hours - so we hunted one down ourselves. The pillows are lumpy. Like, very very lumpy. Our room had an internal view of the stairwell with no natural light, and no visible sky despite being on the third floor. Please beware that if you are looking for a room with a view of something other than a brick wall (with no natural sunlight in your room at all) you will need to be clear. This should be clearly conveyed when booking and paying for the room that there is no outlook at all; just a view of a depressing terracotta-coloured painted balcony and a rusty air conditioner unit. There are no breakfast options at the hotel, the amenities are sparse. If you need to spend any time in your room at all (to work, or to relax at the end of a busy day), if you staying for a week, please let them know and request a room with some kind of view. Even a view across a rooftop is better than a stairwell & a walkway.

家族四人で2ベッド、2バスルームのお部屋に滞在しました。リビング、ダイニングスペースも広々で快適でした。乾燥機付き洗濯機が2台あり、洗濯洗剤も用意されていて、助かりました。建物は多少老朽化はありますが、清潔でした。ベッドも快適です。立地も便利で、red catのバス停もすぐそばで大変よかった。スタッフはフレンドリーで子供たちにも親切でした。
