8 day stay at Mantra Sydney

We stayed for 8 days. Kitchenette units worked well. We had breakfast every day in the room, and some simple dinners. Coles supermarket was close by. Unit serviced daily. Ideal location for shopping, Paddies Market, China town, Central Station, Light Rail, Theatres.

Great Location and Helpful Staff

Spent 2 nights at the hotel for the weekend and I didn't have any complaints. The staff were helpful and we were given 2 free drinks on arrival due to having the membership. I would recommend taking the water as there is no bottled water in the room. The room itself did the job, had a nice bed, couch, bathroom and also a small kitchen area which ended up being very handy. Couldn't complain. Some hotels provide everything in the room already but for this particular stay we had to request a few things which wasn't as hassle as we understand that half the things in the room would end up going to waste as well as the best way to prevent the thought of how many people could have touched it before our stay. The location was perfect walking distance to the light rail, central station, darling harbor, paddy's market and just very central and easy. I had gotten the train from the airport straight to central station then only a 5-10min walk to the hotel. For the price we paid per night compared to how much other accommodations were costing, I believe this was reasonable for our stay.

Very good location but no option for daily housekeeping

Hotel's location is very good as it is in the center of Chinatown and transport options are abundant and very near. However, I wish the hotel would provide at least an option for daily housekeeping, even for an additional fee. Room is large and tastefully designed.

Close to theatre’s, light rail , central station, paddy’s market , CBD and food outlets.Always a pleasure when staying. Staff very accommodating and facilities clean and comfortable. Have stayed before and will continue to do so in the future.

George Street is central and convenient. Trains and trams are close by. No ramp to get suitcases to the reception desk, but that was okay, there weren't too many steps. The bath/shower was a bit slippery, and there was no rubber mat. The room service for bed make-up was good.
